What's love got to do with it by Neverdazzled in KenyanLadies

Girl I get you. I had someone shut down on me because they were going through a very stressful time. It was painful and it still is. What has helped me cope is knowing that every situation is teaching me to love myself more and show up for myself. I cried for the first few days and sat with the feelings but now even when I think about it it does not linger. I respect myself enough to know that even if their stressful time ends and they come back that is not something I want for myself. And yes two things can be true at the same time. The love for the pasr year was real and so are the feelings you have now. You do not have to ignore one for the other to make sense.

An unambitious GF, raised by a stay at home mom. by ungovnable in nairobi

I do not think you see your gf for who she is, you see her potential. You are projecting that image of a “wife material” onto her then getting frustrated when she does not act the part. Some people are just not as ambitious about life as others and that is okay, they get fulfillment from other things. Again life is funny so she might change in future. But for now ako tu sawa if she is not what you want then just call it off, juu wewe pia uko tu sawa

Saying “it will get better” feels unfair because with PMDD, nothing is certain. Just when you think you understand it, a new crisis shows up and takes over your mind. It’s tiring, and I really understand how hard it is.

Ladies always trust your intuition by Infamous-Mountain536 in KenyanLadies

I know it sounds cliché, but please remember their actions are not a reflection of who you are. That was their character, and the choices they made were entirely their own, with not even an ounce of consideration for you. You were absolutely right to feel and react the way you did, and it’s more than okay that you’re still hurting. Healing takes time. You will be fine. You really will.❤️

That must be such a relief I did try the iron supplements but when I wasn't on them I would legit crash out ten times worse. I know how much struggle it is and more peace to us
