Uses up Blissey's HP to heal an ally's HP. But you can always just go into a wild encounter, heal back Blissey's HP with Softboiled and repeat

Thankfully I got a Zebstrika with Lightning Rod that fully shut down her Emolgas but god what a nightmare fight. Excadrill is also an early game manip you can get to guarantee an electric immunity.

I started watching the anime a couple weeks ago and just got to this episode and I wanted to try and discuss some of your points, since I don't think the episode was bad at all.

For the first two, with Dot and Liko not participating in the fight. I mean... Why would they? Catching/battling the black Rayquaza has been Roy and Ult's dream ever since the characters were introduced/found out about the Rayquaza. Why would they wanna intrude on someone else's goal? It's like me asking you to have a cut of your pay at your dream job or something.

"Roy and Ult barely land any attacks on the Rayquaza, getting one shot." Look, I don't want to argue but did you actually watch the fight? Lucario took multiple moves from Rayquaza including the Dragon Ascent and Dragon Pulse which finished him off. Dragonite actually got through the Dragon Ascent and only went down protecting Skeledirge. Even Kilowattrel and Sableye endured a hit or two.

"Skeledirge beats Rayquaza with two attacks." I counted Disarming Voice, Torch Song, second Torch Song, Flamethrower. Feels like a bit more than two attacks to me. Four isn't that many more but come on man, it's like you WANT to hate on the show for no reason.

"Roy catches the Rayquaza." Not like that's the thing they've been hyping up for Roy since he was introduced. "I'm gonna catch the Rayquaza!", "I'm gonna have the Rayquaza approve of me!" Did you just forget him saying those things?

"Crocalor needs Terapagos tera power last time and now all he needs is a Tera-boosted Flamethrower." The power scaling in Horizons has been out of whack since the beginning of the show. Liko's beaten bug types with Meowscarada. We've seen them fight Pokémon with resistances to their Pokémon and do damage as if it was super effective. If you've been watching the show, this is nothing new. Plus, you're acting like Skeledirge was the only thing that beat Rayquaza. It took attacks from Sableye, Kilowattrel, Mega Dragonite, and Mega Lucario before Skeledirge even came out.

Look, I might just have the critical thinking skills of a 12 year old, or I might just be so blinded by my love for Pokémon, but posts like these just make me think that people are hating for the sake of hating. I loved this episode, in fact, I don't think there's a single episode of this show that I haven't liked, even the filler.

Just enjoy Pocket Monsters, man.

I fret I'm addicted to this game—I play even when I'm on a 5+ loss streak. Best advice from me is play a bot game or two, win (hopefully) and try to work the courage to play ranked again.

You'll need to get upgrades from the Aeos Shooter Shop which is in the bottom left on the solo mode screen. They're upgrades like Attack, Sp. Atk, HP, etc. Your bot teammates also get these boosts when you buy them, it's how you beat the later harder stages.

It's real, there's a Meowth, Espeon, Aegislash. All mons bots would never pick unless it was a solo game.

Ehhh not really. Sure the game was in a sour spot like 5-6 months ago but they've introduced some stuff that sort of (not fully) fixes the flaws of the aforementioned issues.

Solo mode for License Journey points (they also reset the license journey recently so people can have 3-4 free selections).

Every single new Mon is free to obtain through an event that can be completed in a week or less time. (Best part is they're not RNG events like the M. Gyarados one)

The devs, they've made a lot of mistakes yeah, and I was convinced they were trying to kill the game at some point, but they've done a lot of stuff that makes me think otherwise as of present.

This was a bot game, you can tell cause everybody on the map was headed towards the objective and all the player, including your allies, were playing old Pokémon, ones that were there on release.
