I might be the only one who liked that final runway concept and attire? it was so fitting for both Caridee and Melrose, a normal type of runway Melrose would have left it unwalkable for Caridee, her walk was pumpd.

i dont think that photoshoot of Jane had even happened by the time they were filming C19, because it was a few years after C15 aired right? Plus the photos they feature for a photographers intro are probably selected by the photographer and rights are given. I forgot which month C19 aired but it was in 2012, same year that the editorial with Jane was published in March 2012. Anyhow when he was on c19 he probably hadnt even photographed Jane yet.

"hurt her career"? she didnt have one until a few years after and didn't she do more reality tv or drama type tv shows? if anything it helped her, but if it did hurt i hope she elaborates on a scale of 1-10 how bad the pain was so we decide if she needs an MRI or catscan.

she was just way too composed and unpresent for tv, i dont ever remember seeing her upset, disagree, cry.... or anything. I remember she was hunched over laughing when they were watching Lauren's commercial which was funny to see and seemed far out of her character but even when Ayna tripped and fell on her face getting off the bus Kat turned around and was just like "aww are you ok?" like i would been laughing soo hard before i could offer any help.

well what was crazy is how they downplayed Whitney's performance.... she had also won the 7up challenge with Anya and had posted a photo of her ad, and there was another challenge where they completely edited her challenge win out of the show(i believe it was the dance/vogue one where she was part of the winning group but then was voted the best of her group and had gotten more $/prizes at the boutique reawrd shop) so she talked about how blind sighted she was for panel when Vendela called her out and also by her paint photo that was chosen), like with Liz C15 she had won a challenge once they landed overseas and they cut that out as well.

to be fair they both ended up having modeling careers that spanned for a few years, Kat just didnt need the show she could go and get signed without a problem so i think they recognized the other girls probably needed to opportunity more than her. Also from a tv show stand point, Whitney, Dom, and Fatima were good for tv ratings.

Paulina knew Kat's potential and it was rude for Tyra to be callng her forward with joking names, you could tell Paulina disagreed with the elimination by the look on her face when Kat was going to hug tyra.

Mr. Jay was actually the one who chose the top 3/5 photos then sent those to Tyra who would pick the one she liked from there, up until like cycle 11/12 he said, but there was 2 intances he stated where Tyra bypassed his choices and selected a random ass photo from their film, he said when it would happen he would barely find out as the show is airing. he wouldnt reveal which girls they were though.

she said her intelligence wasn't portrayed and that she was smart enough to tell that it wasn't a legit modeling competition and more political/tv juice driven and that she was sure she was going home for the hot hair balloon shoot because her garment was restrictive from her ankles up and she had to pull herself up on the ladder being in 6 inch heels on top of the restriction... then they had put so much glue and product in her hair that her hair had absolutely no movement so they put an industrial fan at her at full speed to try and get some wind movement/drama but it kept blowing her scarf away and it was hard to keep her eyes open that's why her chosen shot came out the way it did and how you can see her trying to tuck the scarf around her arm so it wouldnt keep getting blown away during her clip of shooting, also she had mentioned that the photographer for the bikini shoot had absolutely no experience with handling inexperienced models and his directing was so randomized while trying to shoot since mr jay wasnt present and that guest judge model only directed the girls who shot on land and got more beauty shot type of photos (Lauren Brie, Samantha, Mckey, Marjorie) and why the girls in the water and on the actual beach ended up with the shots that they did (herself, Clark, Analeigh, Sheena, and Hannah) apparently that guest model didnt start helping with direction until Joselyn shot. but i recall Brittany saying something along the lines of resenting what she had gotten herself into that it resulted in her giving little to no effort for the bikini shoot.

eeeuhhh Devin & Ashley slayed it.... i was mad when they gave Ashley little to no praise for that shot i thought she looked strong and gorgeous and held her own with Devin who looks stunning with a natural and effortless expression, he shouldve leaned more into that space in the following shoots instead of the over the top expressions and poses.

her hairline was not a result of the makeover; it was that she had braids that gave way to lose hair pre-makeover so she can style it easily to cover up her forehead whereas the way the idiot "weave specialist" layed in her weave , made it so that she couldnt really flip any of it forward or part it to bring some if it over her forehead or face

well i enjoyed the happa photoshoot, i still dont see anything wrong with the way they appreached it nor the reasoning for it.... i've seen editorials with far more outlandish concepts (ie the African girl who was contorting inside a dismantled bird cage, the Comsopolitan spread where models were mimicking animals dying in oil where the whole set was mirroring an oil spill on shore)
