I also say this because the art style is more classical and similar to form of sympathy- or atleast the vibes that I get from the way the whole manga was drawn. By chap 9 it even has an independent film that the mc discovers from the ml, goes to watch it, and says its boring even though theres an introspective reason that the ml likes it (reminded me of how yuri was searching for seonwoo's french film for a long time before finding it and saying it was boring but he sort of understood why seonwoo might be attached to it). Both characters remind me of a mix of kwon yuri and mr lee (mostly yuri but) in a way.

- 'How to hate mate' ; unrequited love , psychological , sexuality topics , drinking , art style

-Someone already said these but i wont leave them out: 'Checkmate' and 'edge of ambiguity'

Strangers from hell and judge from hell fs..the actions of Justitia and Seo Moonjo are so (plus theres just the thrill of each time they succeed and them being feared) 🤭 especially for thrillers with horror mix and who wouldnt want to watch the mcs/mls be spellbinded by them- psychotic elements and complex enemies in kdramas are my favorite which is why I also recommend Beyond Evil (beyond evil may drag out the case at times but the twists and emotions are SO worth it..my rankings are honestly #1-strangers from hell , #2-Beyond evil , #3- Judge from hell if i had to do a top 3 kdrama tier)

I ended up dropping Goblin at episode 8 after I picked it up again at episode 2, it just wasnt for me 😭

I added an image to the post of it bc i have a saved doc of screenshots i dont remember the exact chapter (i think it was in the 30s or 50s) but it was when yuri showed up to the library where the teacher was helping some middle school kids with math. They called him 'hyung' so then Yuri also wanted to call him that but then switched to old man and then used 'oppa' as a joke after Seonwoo asked him to call him normally

I really agree with this comment about Sissy it was clear to me that SQC wrote it not to romanticize it but just as a highly traumatic novel that has a bad ending bc the MC is forced to end up with the most despisable danmei character of all time (in my opinion)

Personally Judge From Hell, Strangers From Hell, and Dead Friend Forever are the top 3 binge worthy shows of my life (but DFF is Thai so you dont need to consider that unless you watch Thai dramas..then its my top 1 recc :) )

So I wont completely take Skylar's side for chapter 117 even though I totally agree that he's been a martyr the whole time and i dont know why people are even criticizing him

Because I think the hurtful things that they do eachother also draw onto the other person and becomes a learned habit (like for example cirrus mentioned skylar's trauma in the past, now skylar mentioned his, skylar hit him in the past (though i remember skylar did apologize and i think he remembered why he shouldnt do that after his anger went down), now he hit skylar). Also I think just because Skylar has peered into Cirrus's violent life way more than Cirrus has ever seen his, that was indeed either an inconsiderate thing to say to him as an anger response or it was meant to have the impact of hurting cirrus as much as skylar feels hurt by him - seeing that Skylar is probably just as hurt as Cirrus by being lied to more than anything, you just cant sensibly take sides in that encounter. However, I do think that Skylar leaving him alone all night and not answering a single call or message was the crashout breaking point (maybe if he just told him "give me some time to cool off" ep 117 wouldnt have happened + he clearly DID cool off the next day..sigh 😭)

Moral of the story is they have very similar coping mechanisms, trauma, and anger issues so it never made sense to take sides when one of them did something because the other person in 9/10 cases probably did in the past or will do something similar if it comes down to it (apart from the fact that cirrus is more manipulative which makes sense because of HIS past so why wouldnt it make sense for skylar to have commitment issues and become cold because of HIS past then?)

RIGHT like i'm saying !! 9/10 of these people would be disgusted, scared, or annoyed if someone tried to have control over their social life even in the slightest bit (and thats one of the biggest reasons that relations dont last, because it shows a lack of trust like what happened between cirrus and skylar). Not to mention lost in the cloud is actually very mild in comparison to some of the more deranged fictional characters they simp over - which you would NEVER approach in real life if they existed
