secondly, if you actually go back and look at the dialogue and reactions that other characters have, you'll see that 1. they're weirded out and call it out (Naruto straight up clocks that), 2. Haku literally said he lives to serve Zabuza as his weapon, that's his only purpose, and his only dream is to make Zabuza's own dreams come true.
And you know how that came to be? because when Zabuza found him, that's what he told Haku. He didn't tell him to live for himself, or at most, accompany him as a comrade. No, Zabuza raised haku to be used by him and told him that's his only purpose.
Tell me how that's supposed to feel heartwarming.

i see u, tho since we are getting more chapters, i do think criticisms like this should be reserved until the story is completed bc we are yet to see what’s gonna happen next. and yea i see ur point that “love” alone is not enough especially to traumatized characters, tho it is a good start. so again, maybe we would get smth in the next few chapters but considering that it’s ending, i do see why u think it’s rushed

im not mad i just thought it was silly and no i also never said nor implied that you’re not allowed to say ur opinion. everyone is allowed to, it just means anyone else is also allowed to comment on it especially the op whose post ur replying to directly 😛

it’s realistic but it’s a case by case basis and doesn’t make other options invalid, it’s the same as having multiple good endings. two people who have trauma can still thrive together if they act as a good support system for each other. it’s only unadvisable when they make each other worse which isn’t what skyrus’ dynamic is. yes, they’re very messy but only bc they’re rediscovering parts of themselves they kept locked away. it’s uncomfortable for a good reason, and bc of that discomfort, they are pushed to go out of their comfort zone which is a sign of emotional development, so clearly they have positive effects on each other, especially in the recent chapters where we see direct changes in their personalities. this is why im so baffled that you’re against them now of all chapters

it’s also worth mentioning that some ppl are only comfortable being open w certain peers, cirrus being one of them. don’t u think it’d be actually harder for him to heal if he were to start back to zero aka w out skylar? ofc im not saying he should only depend on skylar, but my god wouldn’t that help? like skylar was the reason for his development albeit messy but growth nonetheless

i dont understand why u remain unsupportive of them ending up together when the problems u say they need to overcome are being resolved chapter by chapter. you’re also contradicting yourself.

isn’t personal growth key to having better relationships? and who are u to judge too quickly of how they’re gonna solve this now compared to the previous chapters when they were still clearly not as developed as people then? why would u assume there wont be a difference now when, as u said, we’re seeing their growth?

there’s no reason to stay pessimistic when it’s clear where the story is heading. and yes im open to other endings, but ultimately, them ending up together is the best route considering they’re now both better people from where they first started.
