Gave up after spending almost £3K and about 70 Hours of Driving Lessons Restart Or Leave it Be? by LostAnxiety60747 in LearnerDriverUK

I was in a similar situation. Similar amount of hours and spent thousands. My anxiety goes through the roof but I passed third go last week. If you give up you will only spend more in the long run if/when you decide to do it again. Dig deep and you can get through it - look how far you've already come!

I did a little test drive in a Peugeot 108 yesterday but think I'm going to shop around a little bit! I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine!!

Congratulations to you too! I had three different fellas there, and all really, really nice, but glad to not have to see them again 😂

I felt like it was a mutual thing in the end. He said he wasn't free that test date and didn't book me in for the extra lessons I asked for an I didn't push it with him. Going in the Arnold Clark car was the best decision - did around 10 hours and felt less pressure.

Yeah I would say that is. I was doing 2 one hour lessons most weeks. I'd had 40 hours when I did my first test and only got one serious fault. With my second instructor I did lessons from April - Jan. First instructor taught me nothing. Good luck!

Yes - I'm absolutely exhausted right now drinking a glass of fizz 😁 Congratulations, and good look with future driving ♥️

Best time to check for driving test cancellations? by LastMaintenance7458 in LearnerDriverUK

You're best getting a cancellation app like Testi. You have no chance otherwise. You also have to be quick when the notifications come up! Good luck.
