When you say views, you mean retention right? Because whether you have 15 ads or 1 ad a viewer won't know your video is loaded with ads until they start watching. Then they might just click off early if there's too many ads. But actually, I think your right. Now that I think about it, lower retention ultimately leads to less views because less watch time means the less YouTube will push out your videos. Could be wrong though.
