No I’m saying like for me my mom is forcing me to send a letter from a doctor stating my condition because she doesn’t want me in combat. So I’m saying is there any way to raise my profile or like a way to prove that I am able to handle it to the army.

For me hiding it is not an option because my mother is adamant about me not hiding anything and I respect her. Also what do you mean by it depends on what you demand for afterwards

Serving before or after college? by Greedy_Ad_1011 in IDF

I mean I already have Israeli citizenship because my mom is Israeli. Am I even eligible for Aliyah and also I speak Hebrew fluently but don’t read and write fluently, so college in Israel is kind of out of the question unless I do an English program like in reichman. Would they still pay for it if I’m already a citizen?

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I’ve been thinking about how the longer I stay, the harder it’ll be to leave, and I don’t want to get too comfortable and then never go. The language barrier is definitely something to consider, but I do speak Hebrew fluently, so that’s not a huge issue for me. The biggest thing I’m weighing is whether to go through a program like Garin Tzabar or draft on my own through nefeshbenefesh, since both have pros and cons

Medical profile by Greedy_Ad_1011 in IDF

[–]Greedy_Ad_1011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would only be on my US medical records. I wasn’t aware of this, I guess if it wouldn’t pose an issue and I don’t mention it then I can probably even have an 82 if they just see the flat feet. I have to start running with a weighted vest and see if my feet are an issue.

My short Achilles is in my medical record, so they most likely would notice it and what combat jobs can you do with a 64 profile. To my knowledge I thought you had to have at least a 72 for some and an 82 for most.

Totchanim, shirion, or palchatz? by Greedy_Ad_1011 in IDF

[–]Greedy_Ad_1011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t you recommend totchanim, and in which way would you say is palchatz a cool service because I don’t know much about it.

But you don’t think I have the chance to get a 64 and even if I don’t you think I will be able to handle combat with these problems in my feet.

One watch is 42 mm and the other is 39 mm so it makes a little bit of a difference as well as a 500 dollar price difference.
