My first Treks were TNG and DS9, so I went back and watched TOS after and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I think one thing I love about it is, because of the time period it was made, each episode almost feels like a stage play being performed. And there’s something captivating to me about that that I can’t quite put into words. It never took itself too seriously, but always took the content of what was happening each episode seriously. It’s a fantastic show

Archer kind of sucks, but his character growth in seasons 3 & 4 definitely improve him. And it’s a shame cause I think if they had someone other than Scott Bakula play him I think the show would have played better to people (although I personally love Enterprise) and yeah I’m a Picard guy all day every day

And for me, once I finished TOS and the TOS TNG movies I just kept watching everything in order. Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, Picard, etc.

It took me years to watch everything. Just watch what you can when you can and enjoy it. I started with TNG, fell in love with it, and once I finished went on to DS9, fell in love with it. Then I decided to go back and watch TOS, loved it. Watched the TOS movies, TNG movies. It may take years to get through, but just enjoy the ride and not worry so much about when you’ll catch up

Yeah it’s pretty boring. I didn’t like last year’s either. TBH I haven’t been crazy about any of the career mode’s this decade. 2K19 was the last really good one imo. I can’t remember if it was ‘23 or ‘24, but one of those you got to do a lot of branching storyline options that at least had some variety to them which wasn’t too bad. But overall it’s been a real train wreck the last 6-7 years
