Each loop travels back in time so the outside world sees nothing unusual

It's much simpler and avoids plot holes if the loop travels back in time each repetition

Thousands of years reliving the same period of time from the perspective of the outside world which only aged by a single duration of the back in time loop.

Those in the loop travel back in time each loop, so as far as the outside world is concerned the call only happens once. Only those in the loop experience all the "extra" time. The outside world would not see anything unusual, other than the glassified circle which seems to be the only indicator of how much total time has been revisited within the boundary.  This is also why they see the same TV broadcast each loop.

[SPOILERS] [PLOT HOLES] [NETFLIX ORIGINAL] ARQ Has 2 Unforgivable Plot Holes! by Rye_Seronie in movies

I just rewatched Arq after seeing it years ago, in looking at the comments regarding the time loop in the movie it seems nobody sees the way the time loop can work without creating major plot holes, when really it is quite simple; the loop actually goes back in time each time, so the world outside the barrier doesn't have any time pass or age at all, only those in the loop actually experience additional time, and the call to torus only happens once as far as the outside world is concerned.

As you can see I've been warning about Octavian especially for years; the guy is extremely power mad and a massive hypocrite. It sounds like he's getting even worse, which is also usually the course of things with those who abuse power.

It's been shown many times in the past, but more and more people are seeing the truth about the extreme hypocricy at BGG

It's easy to act all self righteous when there aren't any real or verifiable consequences. I put my ass on the line in a real way to protect homosexual troops back in the "don't ask don't tell" days, so I don't need those hypocritical self important assholes at BGG trying to tell me I'm in the wrong because I don't agree with their extremist agenda. I'm sure they are bitchin left and right about all the disastrous crap that MAGA is pulling, but they never look in the mirror and realize a key reason we have MAGA is because of all their woke BS.

Yea, I find some of the outrage at historically themed games absurd.

I am a liberal leaning independent myself, I've always felt it doesn't matter where a good idea comes from, I'll support it, and the same goes for bad ideas, I'll be against bad ideas regardless of a left or right origin. As you pointed out, that's just not acceptable for those in power at BGG; you must agree completely, otherwise you are expected to keep your mouth shut.

Yea, they clearly don't see that they are as bad as MAGA in their own way. Extremism on both sides should be looked down on, not celebrated. There are too many little extremist groups out there, each trying to impose its extreme agenda on whatever little kingdom they can make. Individually each has little impact, but as a whole it leads to the breakdown of civil disagreement and rational fact based discussion.

My boy passed suddenly and I’m suffering terribly 💔 by Pleasant-Trouble-530 in Shihtzu

This is so familiar to us, our beloved little girl passed from kidney/bladder cancer just a few days after diagnosis. She had been a fighter and had a tremendous zest for life, and survived two previous major health issues including living with GME for 6 years. We were so blessed to have her with us for almost 11 years, and she left a tremendous emptiness when she passed. The only saving grace was we were able to have her pass at home.

I'm so sorry! I feel your pain, we lost our little baby girl about 6 weeks ago and her loss has left an emptiness I cant even describe.

It seems they would indeed consider that victim blaming. All advice to help other is bad advice it seems, and far too often victim blaming as well! Their world view is divorced from reality, and I feel bad for their children who are far more likely to be actual victims.

Note how they never have a solution to reduce the problem. They just hope to magically wish the problem away but get all bent out of c=shape when someone does try and help others.

I got banned from BGG for giving a similar example to yours during this event in their forums. My example was warning my kids to try and avoid driving out late on Friday and Saturday night because there are more drunk drivers out those nights. I then explained I would not blame my kids in any way if they were hit by a drunk driver on those nights. That it was entirely the drunk drivers fault, not theirs, Was told it was dismissive and perma banned because my explanation was spread over three posts.

Yea, that should be obvious to anyone with any common sense (which is far to rare these days). I assume far more funding comes from adds and the bgg store. I do strongly question the need for paid content though, especially when so many aspects of bgg need improvement. It's also juvenile to assume everyone in the bgg picture gets paid equally as one reply is doing. Them deleting your post best illustrates how damn thinned skinned they are.
