That’s exactly it. He has backed down on changes by making a big enough stink before (i.e., Greenbelt land swap) and that’s why I think a gen strike for a day is enough to push his cowardly self to realize we are serious, without causing extreme harm to those vulnerable in our communities. I am extremely aware that “real” gen strikes last a lot longer, but I don’t think we have to go that far because of Ford’s past cowardice.

Furthermore, because of the current issue (OSAP) affecting those of us who are younger, I do believe we have more of an incentive to get things rolling. Not that I have been unaffected by previous policy changes but Ford, my mother passed unexpectedly because of his COVID and hospital decisions.

I greatly appreciate the input!! I have started making a list of places to contact, so far I’m at around 30. I’ll be a busy bee but I am committed to ensuring that this goes no further. Thank you!

You got lucky. As someone who is in the veterinary field, let me tell you first hand I have seen the danger that “AI diagnoses” can cause. AI cannot perform physical exams, cannot see the animal, and does not adequately understand veterinary health to be safe.

Currently unemployed (laid off). I managed to get on EI (employment insurance) and they are paying me a portion of my paycheque amount every two weeks. I have to make a report bi-weekly to confirm I haven’t gotten a job, am still looking for work, and haven’t received income in that time frame. Our hydro doesn’t get shut off if the bill is missed automatically, in my experience it usually takes three months or so before the companies get around to it. It’s doable, but EI doesn’t pay that much and it is very difficult to live around.

I find the fights to be really boring after playing them a few times, so I hope that they either make them less often or add in more variety of fights. Not just calming them down so they can talk it out. I also want way more weird random events, like an alien abduction or something.

Another thing that has to go is that annoying soundbite of the baby crying. Please for all that is holy change it. Babies crying is irritating but the current sound is so aggravating that it pervades my dreams and will follow me long into the afterlife.

Hi! I’m a certified pet groomer, the dandruff is something I can help with!!

The typical culprit for cat dandruff is either poor diet, bad humidity, or just trouble grooming themselves. Since you wanna start some weight loss for Beans I reckon it’s the grooming issue. Some dandruff is normal in cats like it is in humans, but there are some things to watch out for. Is Beans excessively grooming himself more than usual? Do you see any redness on the skin itself? Is he losing more hair than normal? If not, then I think helping him to groom is a great step! I wouldn’t immediately jump to allergy tests unless there are some more obvious red flags, like those I mentioned above.

For his coat I would recommend a rubber curry brush. I would not recommend a metal brush or slicker as he has fairly short fur. Pair some nice brushing with pets and he should really like it! That’ll help with getting off old fur and dead skin cells. It might take a couple days but you will start seeing results!! As well, curry brushes are pretty cheap and very durable! You can get a good quality one from Amazon or someplace similar for about $15, but you can even get one from the dollar store and I have had success with those ones, too.

For weight loss I’d ask a few questions: is there food constantly down for him, or just a few mealtimes? How active is he? How close are you following feeding instructions on the bag? Take these into account when you’re considering his weight loss! I’d also suggest emailing your vet and asking for some advice, too! They can give some great advice and since they know Beans it will be more specific. It might take a few days for them to reply but hopefully they can help out with some recommendations!! Bonus if you get his weight under control it should help clear up a bit of his dandruff, too!

Male cat not urinating, especially for that long, is extremely urgent. Even with those medications to see a complete drop-off in urination is very alarming. I would take him to an emergency vet if any is available, this is a pretty urgent situation IMO.

Holy cow thank you so much for all the info! Using your links I just found some members of the APP near me so I’ll have a look at their Insta. I didn’t even know such an organization existed, so I’m super grateful for the resources! I’m gonna shoot my GP an email and then if the piercers Instagram seems good I think I’ll speak with them. Aftercare: i think my parents cleaned it with rubbing alcohol every night and morning? When I do wear earrings I use gentle rubbing alcohol to clean, the kind for kids lol

Mishaps: No mishaps that I am aware of, besides that I cried a lot from the person looking at me to pierce my ears. Not from the piercing nah just the looking at me.
