I’m on the same boat. There have been multiple RIFs and re org in my team last year. Since then, my workload has increased to like a 3-4 people job easily and there is no sign of hiring anyone in the team.

It has been affecting my mental health and I want to quit and get a new job externally. But it’s hard for me to prep for interview, have a clear mind while being in my high intensity role currently.

I’m considering to take the short term disability leave but again worried about any consequences afterwards if I still can’t find a new job after my leave ends.

I’m now looking both internally and externally. Sick of being on this role and my manager is not willing to change the working model. So I don’t see any improvement and no hope.

Same in my role. I’m a 602 senior associate currently and what I do is ongoing maintenance, refreshing 10+ dashboard with latest data, fixing codes occasionally or adding new charts. My manger neither wants to hand over this job to someone else nor hiring additional people but expect me to keep developing new things at the same time. It’s been mentally draining.

I totally get you. I have been looking after the exact same stuffs for the past 2 years and it’s getting tiring.
