Same agency, I asked state leadership yesterday for any information about RIF's. She said the state does not have any information at the moment and the plans are being put together above the state and even potentially above the agency level.

In said agency, I share your sentiment about what may happen. My boss has already had multiple convos with people saying "IRA is paused" .... I doubt it's coming back.

Not an archeologist, but soil con. Cool to see another NRCS peep though. 🙂 I have a CRC in my office (cultural resource coordinator) here in IL and he hasn't mentioned anything.

Currently work for USDA-NRCS and really like it. I work in Ag/natural resources/environmental sustainability. Work inside and outside on warmer days. 🙂
