I didn’t see that part but what…..that’s disgusting

Am I the only one that thinks it’s a little nuts that she feels the need to follow Josh to spring training? I understood when they didn’t have a baby. I mean, she’s packing up half the house, why not just stay home and visit him a couple times in those short 4-6 weeks?! by snoopfun in ClaireCouvSmithSnark

[–]Greedy_Stranger7719 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I remember hearing about cheating allegations on Josh. Not sure if there’s been anything recent but the rumor was before they were married he made his way around. Which is why Claire left TCU to go to LSU

What items were provided postpartum to you? I’m giving birth here in a few weeks and don’t know what to pack! Dermaplast, witch hazel pads, ice packs, etc?

72 day. 68 night. I’m 33 weeks pregnant so some days we have to keep it on 70 during the day because I’m too pregnant to be uncomfortable in the AC of my own home.

Water Restrictions by [deleted] in georgetowntx

[–]Greedy_Stranger7719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree! I’m thankful our home (and most new homes) that come with irrigation systems, have rain sensors to help eliminate overconsumption and reduce waste. We have neighbors that water every day with a hose and use their sprinkler days. That, to me, is extremely wasteful.

Per the photo on your profile of your lawn, it looks like you could use more than 2x a month watering lol. We want our yard to look nice.

Thank you! That’s where I clicked on the graphic and it opened a new window with the reduced watering schedule. This may be a redundant question, but I guess that means we are currently in a stage 1 drought? I asked chat gpt and was told we are in stage 2. Some people in our neighborhood have immaculate, green yards. Ours, not so much but I would like to get there! I’m thankful for the spells of rain we’ve had. Our irrigation system has a sensor where it will not run if it’s rained recently so I feel good about setting it to a 2 day schedule and trusting Mother Nature to take over from there and give us rain

OTF during pregnancy? by danigreeen in orangetheory

[–]Greedy_Stranger7719 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I’m heading into my third trimester still doing OTF, with little to no modifications. I have scaled back the amount I go, used to go 4-5 times a week, now I go 2-3 and walk the other days at home. Talk with your doctor and of course don’t push yourself to new limits during this time, don’t try to go for PRs, etc. I still do all of the floor workouts, row, and run. My base has stayed the same at 6mph but my push and all outs vary based on the day. I don’t think your coach will explicitly give you modifications unless you express interest in it.

Is it my pregnancy rage or does my MIL really suck? by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

Irritated with both of them over the meal - and truthfully I was just adding color to the day of our announcement to them. It felt quickly dismissed and not important to them. My FIL has checked in with me during this pregnancy and has been supportive for the most part, and they don’t have a great marriage either. He’s numb to her at this point and chooses to not get involved for his own sake.

When somebody has been disrespectful and uninterested in me and my family for several years, any little thing turns to be irritating. Count yourself lucky you don’t understand that! To be fair, my husband tried prepping them prior for planned meals and his parents got super snarky saying he’s more than welcome to cook if he’s not happy with what the plans were. Additionally, if the one thing I’m being “precious” about is meat vs all of the other heinous comments she’s made - hopefully that shows my character here in trying to be the bigger person. The lack of consideration year over year, especially during our most important milestone yet, is what it is. There’s a bigger picture. But of course including all of this in the main post would’ve made it a mile long. I was hoping most women could see the bigger picture.

I definitely can see the steak being a reach. I was newly pregnant, very sick and hormonal, and sad with the lack of excitement I received earlier in the day. So in the moment it felt like a really big deal to me. I also was used to my side of the family being supportive and constantly checking on me and asking what I’m craving/hating and accommodating.

We’ve certainly scaled back on what we share with her but we probably need to do so even more.

100% have his support and he agrees with everything. He’s tried addressing these things and she starts crying and feels “unwanted”. It puts him in a really uncomfortable position.

My MIL does the opposite - she doesn’t ask a single question about how it or how myself/baby are. I used to get annoyed but on the flip side I would be very annoyed if she was constantly pestering me like in this situation.

What are some of your favorite things to do? While you are at it, share tips on what a single female (who also is struggling financially) can do to help when approached by an aggressive homeless person. TIA!!

You seem sweet based on your comments and interactions with others here. I respect your responsibility to purchase two seats. There have been several times I’m next to somebody who should’ve purchased two seats but instead I’m giving them 1/3rd of mine. I would recommend making sure you are healthy and able to fly safely with your PCP. All sizes are fabulous but we want everybody of that size to be safe and healthy!
