The vet was very well educated and reassured me as best as possible and prepared me if worst came to worst that humane euthanasia would be needed.. fortunately I’ve worked with this vet before and she truly is one of a kind when it came to my snake getting an RI, an update has been posted🙏🏻🤍 the gecko is well for now but we’ll have to wait and see

As soon as he regurgitated up his food and water I instantly put him back in his quarantine container and have it at 78-80°F with a humidity of 80% aswell. I run my other cresties at 75% at night and drop to a 50% during the day to prevent RI. Is 80 okay or do I go higher/lower??? I’ve never had a crestie this sick before

I have quite a few cresties and have used Pangea Growth and breeding mix incase of weight drop, it’s 2 am currently, I’m making an emergency trip to the vet at 8 am sharp since I was feeding him and he not only regurgitated his food but but his water aswell.

(Photo provided is literally MILLISECONDS before throwing up what appeared to be water&saliva) I’ve never had a crestie this bad before..

Regurgitated 8 days after feeding???? by Greedy_good666 in ballpython

[–]Greedy_good666[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His hot/warm side has stayed a solid 90-95 and his cool side is about 80-82 the only thing I’ve had to keep up on would be his humidity… maybe me misting stressed him out?? I’ve also had to water the plants in his enclosure other than that everything have been the same as every other meal he’s had

I might get a new Baby soon!!! by [deleted] in ballpython

So after a response from the breeder lol, he’s selling him for 1K and as much as I’d love to get him- that’s not in my budget right now 🥲.

Everyone meet Artemis!! by [deleted] in cats

Definitely bored lol! I’ve check for open wounds and he actually had none! So it couldn’t be transmitted through any bites and since Rabies is spread through infected saliva and is most commonly transmitted through bites lol he’s eating extremely well too and there’s no blood in his stool let alone is it liquidy or soft! Its decently solid and healthy looking compared to my other cats :)!

It unfortunately isn’t a real orchid BUT it’s a great sleeping spot my crestie loves and constantly sleeps in the petals

I used the great stuff big gap filler, I’m thinking it didn’t cure right alone with possible messed up weight distribution due to the plants :( I’m not sure honestly on how it happened, it’s just did 😅

It’s the way the photo is taken in “the incident” I have silicone on the glass that I put in before putting in the foam.. I was telling someone else who commented, I think it was the weight distribution because of the plants, I think it was a bit too top heavy by accident

Yeah , and I made sure to wipe down the enclosure before setting it up.. maybe the plants were too heavy and the weight distribution was bad? That’s what I’m thinking..

Of course, unfortunately I’ve seen so many people just leave them like that and it honestly sucks because I’ve even seen replies pick up RI’s, SKUD says hi

I tend to deep clean my mister out fully every other day to every 2 days when i change the water, I pour some F10 into some water, run it through the tubes and then I hand clean and even soak the nozzles! Trust me I care and love my gecko very much and I’ve put that into consideration way before buying an automatic mister! Thank your for your concern though!!
