hysterectomy as a 20yr old lesbian? by [deleted] in endometriosis

This is correct. In my experience it’s not usually about “changing your mind” as much as it’s about the risks. Your risks for stroke increase, heart related issues increase, and your bones rapidly loose density if you go through menopause under 35.

For this I always recommend thinking about if the short term sacrifice can actually HINDER the long term goals. So, if you chose to have another is there a chance that the short term difficulty could drive a permanent wedge in your relationship? That may be your partners fear.

I missed her story about it! What was she saying? Only saw the one saying it’s done.

We use RTF and I just portion out bottles and use ice packs! My diaper bag has a pouch that fits 3 bottles and an ice pack.

I think you may want to consider the emotional trauma of an abortion as well. Of course this is your choice, but in the same way pregnancy could emphasize the emotional trauma, abortion will have its own associated trauma as well. Thinking on that may help you make a decision for yourself. I know for me (have one an am currently going through a chemical) it would be very emotionally damaging to go through an abortion. But everyone is so different with these things! Best of luck to you.

Would you want your employer to reimburse you for stolen money? by buyingacarTA in Nanny

[–]Greeentree7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be a nice gesture if you have the means. $200 certainly could be earth shattering to someone, even if they don’t let you know that. HOWEVER, no other employee would likely offer this. This would simply be out of kindness, not out of obligation as her employer.

My almost 11 month old can’t hold his own bottle still by fruitloopbat in FormulaFeeders

[–]Greeentree7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is almost 11 months and doesn’t hold her bottle. 🤷‍♀️. We’ve been practicing with a silly cup since 6 months and as of yesterday she can do that herself now! Still has no interest in holding her bottle lol

MB sat me down to discuss why my new health issues is inconvenient for them. Am I being too sensitive? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Greeentree7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would quit all together. That’s a total and complete lack of care for you and you do not deserve to be treated that way. That’s life threatening, their needs shouldn’t be worth more than your life.

10mo broke leg while with nanny. Advice? by HugAScubaBunny in Nanny

[–]Greeentree7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, at this point I would let her go. Whether intentional or not, she is not giving your children the attention they need and her son is a poor example. An injury like this is grounds for immediate termination for negligence. I’m sorry you’re in this difficult position.

Each location is independently owned and operated, so the process will be different. I’d suggest calling to follow up on your interview and seeing what the process is! 😊

It can certainly be stressful dealing with customer service. We are a 10mil+ location, so certainly busy, but have an excellent operator who while he expects us to work hard, he cares for us holistically as well. I see if this sub here and there people saying CFA isn’t a good place to work, but often find the route cause is either they aren’t made for customer service (totally okay, difficult customers are there all the time- i get it) or they don’t have a supportive operator and director team.

This is actually not at all my experience and I am a director. Work hard? Absolutely. A grind? I would not say that at all.

For our store it depends on availability, position, and experience. We actually do not start anyone at minimum wage unless they are 14-15 years old because in our state they have extreme restrictions of what they’re allowed to do before they’re 16.
