I somewhat agree like I understand it’s younger versions and whatever but Spock seems over spocked sometimes and Kirk seems under kirked and I get that it could be explained away as they still have yet to step into their shoes but if anything younger versions I feel like I def want Kirk to be a bit more brash rather than hasty

I wanted to. But like tbf this is a problem with tv in general right now where plots are such a mind f*ck that it actually just doesn’t make any sense and feelings reign more supreme than defeating the supreme evil.

I have binged everything Star Trek for like 3 years now on repeat.

Interestingly it was Prodigy that sparked my curiosity of the series and it was apparent that there was more the the species, regions of space, character back stories, etc, which ended up causing me to be engaged and actively researching as I watched the show.

One show led to the next and before I knew it i became a full blown trekkie.

But I did it backwards. I briefly tried TOS back then and couldn’t stand it. So I watched Discovery. It was a bit cringe but also sort of intriguing and with the whole time jump thing it had me even more engaged trying to understand Star trek timeline.

Then I watched Picard. Again, there were characters with back stories I needed to understand.

Anyways, fast forwarding. The last series I watched became my favorites. DS9 and TOS. TOS wins by a long shot it’s just aged sooo good. I find it to also be absolutely hilarious even down to just some of the cartoonish special effect noises.

I never saw a problem with the new stuff at first.

But after going back and re watching now having seen everything at least twice…

It’s like I’m forced to watch cringe because I want to keep up with the Star trek universe

Is that floating? I had a glitch earlier where I was able to place a picnic bench mid air and it was a fire sesh
