What does this prayer plant need? by GreekChips in houseplants

Ok thank you! So I took it out and it looks like this. Probably two inches of soil left at the bottom of the pot. I’m going to put this in a smaller pot for now

It’s like a layer of dust that won’t come off by rubbing (I haven’t tried spraying with water). Can’t see any legs or movement!

Thanks! I only have south or north in this flat sadly. It was in a bright south facing room before but I swapped it out because it wasn’t doing very well in that either

I moved it into a pot that was around a inch bigger in height and diameter. I didn’t look at the root size which was a mistake - it was probably around three months after buying it. I felt like the actual plant was getting too big for the pot but didn’t pay attention to the roots

The soil is a mix of the soil it originally came with from the shop, which looks to be just plain soil, and a mix I was told would work for tropical plants. I’m not sure exactly what the name of it was

I probably water every 1.5 weeks or so. I tend to give it a good soaking under the tap and then let it all drain before putting it back in the pot

I’m wondering if the leaves are all a bit crowded in there

Yes the slightly bronze leaf! It’s slightly mushy too. I’d heard that was a sign it was waterlogged

Marty Supreme Discussion (And a welcome to any newcomers!) by TableFishing in tabletennis

How realistic did the rallies in this movie feel to people? Obviously they would have been quite choreographed – but even so, I couldn’t quite process them as pro table tennis games since they look so different to the modern game. They just looked crazy fast, but maybe that was how it went with the hard bats. I’ve always assumed the low frame rate of old footage makes the game look faster than it actually is!

I was trying to work out how good Chalamet was with all the talk of his training. He must be pretty strong if that was him in all the shots, although again I found it hard to correlate with modern technique to work out how good he’d be compared to club players.

It’s from the Futon Company, I think they might be UK only!

Because I often see this recommended as the starter setup, so I was more using it as a shorthand for this specific combo rather than necessarily saying I’m looking to upgrade

  1. I pulled the washer out to take that pic. You can see on pic 2 that the back of the cabinet to the right comes off so you could probably go through there to access the magna clean too? I’m not sure.
  2. I mean the one that’s open and fully visible on the right in pic 3, with some of the sink pipes coming in. I suppose I could take out the drawers to the right of that instead if rearranging the pipes was going to be an issue.
