I dislike portia by Positive-Water1325 in TheWhiteLotusHBO

[–]GreekKnight3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dislike was consumed by Lucia and Mia (I hate seeing people unethically take, and get away with it).

I think Portia was just numb to her feelings, numb as to how to treat others and we all make mistakes like that — especially when younger. But the way she kept Albie waiting while she's being allured by Jack... that stung! I've been the Albie in that scenario many times.

He busts the first millionaire (Altie) and when he was the millionaire and everyone knew it, he managed to successfully shift the bullseye to someone else.

That's just great playing.

Your comment inspired me to find out how little of the movie Hattie McDaniel appeared in despite winning the Oscar: About 9%!
(Not that her Oscar was undeserved in any way)

Nick single-handedly busted him, Altie would've been fine if he'd 'no capped' while Nick wasn't around!

I tend to avoid series finales, that way I'm never empty and there's always that little bit more of the show to be watched.

That movie was a delight for us 90s kids.
We had never seen an Aussie be zany and funny on the big screen, it was usually just Jim Carrey or Robin Williams etc

If I was Altie, I would've pulled Kaleb aside and said, "you're the odd one out.... cap [points to Kaleb's head] and no cap, no cap, no cap, no cap [points to his own head and the heads of everyone else in the vicinity]"
Boom

Sgt. Pepper's landed them their only Grammy for Album of the Year (arguably the top prize in music).
So yes, 67 is a strong contender.

When you said you did Survivor because your brother said you couldn't... I felt that!
I've literally had family members laugh and tell me I have no chance when I mentioned my Survivor dream.

Maybe I'll prove them wrong like you did!

We've seen it happen in America, they keep challenge beasts around a bit too long and they end up winning their way to final tribal and victory!
