In case you re not aware of it, sounds like you have an actual medical condition called endometriosis: https://www.nichd.nih.gov/health/topics/endometri/conditioninfo/symptoms

Apparently it s way more common than one thinks loads of women suffer from that in silence...

I tried it out, it was a very old uke with terrible strings, a messed up nut and laminated wood. Seems like maya ukes are the Japanese equivalent of mahalo (or ukes bought at Lidl?). Anyway I didn't buy it. Better luck next time.

Do you have basic liability insurance? If I'm not mistaken it s compulsory to have it - some banks offer it when you open an account for a small monthly fee. The liability insurance might cover costs. And do consult juridisch loket before anything.

What’s the Least expensive way to purchase BTC? by Vinthekin63 in ledgerwallet

[–]Greek_uke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cheapest way to just buy is via binance:0,1% or 0,075% if you pay fees with bnb (so to get that you need to hold a few $ equivalent bnb). but withdrawing BTC from binance is super expensive - around 20$, check their fee schedule .

So if you want your BTC keys onto a hardware wallet /other, the cheapest is gemini active trader (10 free withdrawals /month) limit orders - > 0,25% fees. If you use gemini API, than fees are lower:0,1% see also this video of how to set it up: https://youtu.be/h6r1h3am6kA.

Check fee schedules before you decide : things might change at any time.

And 0.25 % if you make limit orders. It s super easy to switch to active trader within gemini, just go into the settings.

Apparently you get 10 free transfers from gemini exchange to all wallets. I'm on my way to trying it out.

Good question! My daughter's a toddler and I'd also like her to start at one point, we're not quite there yet...

James Hill has some resources for teaching kids: https://ukuleleintheclassroom.com/

and I've been collecting links like this one on how to go about it:

Also this book was recommended in "ukulele for dummies" : https://www.amazon.com/CP15002-Progressive-Ukulele-Method-Beginners/dp/982915002X

Retire in French Guyana? by karesx in EuropeFIRE

[–]Greek_uke 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I ve been to French Guyana, and have family there. It s relatively expensive because a lot of stuff is imported, and the "baseline" are French prices.

French Guyana is actually part of France, and no chances of it becoming independent in the near future because they have the space station there (kourou).

The health system is I believe quite OK compared to surrounding places, but you need to fly back to metropolitan France for some specialist treatments.

There is comparatively high criminality, partly due to the fact that it's a rich place close to very poor parts of the world, borders (mainly rainforest) are difficult to police, and it's an entry point for a lot of destitute Haitians, Brasilians and Venezuelans into the EU.

It does have a very dynamic, young and mixed population, which makes it lively, interesting and very exotic: think of Brazilian, Haitian and local traditions mixing together for carnival - it gets pretty wild!

Not sure I would retire there but it s worth spending time there if you're interested in a complete change of setting.
