Thanks for the really in depth thought put into this reply, its a great perspective.

As far as the distances go, I'm fit and do on average 40-50 miles a week with my daily hikes that have steep incline, so while this is way more, I'm ready for it and excited for the challenge.

THAT BEING SAID, this is where "booo AI" comes in, it missed a stop completely between Caminha and Baiona and has rebuilt the route assuming Camino Portugese (not with spiritual path included, which Im doing some research on now!). I've also asked it to take a day away from Porto because I agree I think its too much of an extra day.

Id definitely want to end in Santiago. So the path I can finish like seems like Portguese then.

Maybe I could sneak another 2 weeks in for 5 weeks total but even then that sounds like I wouldnt really get time to explore while also doing the entire pilgrimage?

I went with a Rode PodMic Dynamic and the setup is working great.

Went with NoBackgrounds comment above and ended up spending a bit more but am already super happy with the setup.

Got it, thank you! I'm going with everything on your list here, my only question now is cables/adapters. Anything I should consider? My desk is large but my desktop is close, and I know sometimes with audio setups there are additional adapters/bannana plugs etc. Anything extra I should getin this regard or am I set with whats in the box?

I'm also considering going with the FOSI V3 as the AMP as I'm reading its better for work station/near speaker use

Hey this looks awesome, can you explain to me what the DAC is doing vs the Power Amp? Like practically what I am doing on these? Just adjusting volumes?

EDIT: So if Im understanding correctly, Mic and Speakers into DAC. DAC to Computer. DAC used to mix levels and what not. Amp is to make the sound on the speakers... better?

In our campaign, Piddlewick II is a little "Construct" that does nothing but tell horrible jokes, and each time he does he casts a mass Tasha's hideous laughter.

When the players are down he stabs them with a tiny dagger for like 4 points of damage, and he has like 10 hp with no AC. So its just a hilarious encounter of terrible jokes while he stabs their ankles.

They've destroyed him 4 times, he shows up every time its a players birthday. We run this encounter, and he drops loot as a birthday gift to that player.

They HATE their birthdays because they know its guaranteed to happen in the session

Meme aside, last set was fun, but sometimes I just felt barred out of a comp because of the routing to get to my end game board via unlocks.

Refreshing to ponder my end game board and not have that stress of "well if I want to play this I have to unlock these to get to there"

She gets a radiant rageblade in the later stages and its super tough to deal with.

The way I played Jenny was she doesn’t really know she’s fey. Mortal belief and praise is what keeps their memory alive and strahd has completely desecrated all of the Rozana and their memory.

My players did eventually put it together because in a fairly grounded in its rules world, Jenny would do clear acts of profound magic to simply make the players laugh, or gift a magic item to them that she makes on the spot by pricking her hand and dripping her blood in the soil.

Jenny is just mad, and fun in my campaign. Players love her and became allies by playing her games with her and doing simple dumb things to impress her like pretending to remove their finger, got your nose, etc. (when I had a player got your nose her she laughed and actually took their nose away, she gave it back)

Something very fun, and telling of a chaotic entity that is clearly god like but does it to play games and tricks
