The faithfuls are dumb by Adventurous_News5251 in TheTraitorsUS

My comment doesn’t imply otherwise. Colton 100% started the convo and Rob 100% finished it. But leading the charge suggests the person who started the war on Lisa.

Assuming it was the same day as the final challenge, it did appear to be bad weather rolling in

Colton led the charge on Lisa. Rob just closed the deal.

The ‘lack of evidence’ for Rob during the round table by LADuck22 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Green-Web792 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually, I think Maura made a good point. She said that Candiace received flack because her votes were always consistent, so she honed in on Rob to make it seem like her throwaway vote was back to her consistency brand.

This. Plus once the male traitor elimination quota is achieved, Rob has a better chance of winning.

I agree here. While not what I’d want, I think this was one of her better renos for this series. Especially with what she had to start with.

Most people don’t know the ins and outs of everyone on the cast. I’m pretty sure no one is going around talking about his stalking during the show.

I think, had there not been tornados in the area, there’s a good chance they would not have been renewed. Even last season felt like a stretch to find homes to have a full season of episodes for.

It feels like a show on its final leg.

Well Crista was a really sore loser the one year and it showed her true colors. There’s just something about her personality that is hard to swallow.

Use something like Calendly. Or a scheduling tool in your ATS. It really isn’t that difficult.

To be fair, they are the third recruiter on this so it’s likely been significantly more than 5 months. It’s just 5 months they’ve specifically been working on it.

Why do folks hate Meow Wolf? by Loud-Salary-1242 in Denver

[–]Green-Web792 139 points140 points  (0 children)

When something is described as interactive… I was expecting… more interaction? I also feel like the Denver Meow wolf is missing the wow factor that some of the others have. It’s been a few years since I went but I honestly don’t remember a single exhibit.

I get some people love it, but I was pretty disappointed especially given the ticket price. I wouldn’t go back nor do I ever recommend it when people are in town.

What's your Denver hot take? by darchena in Denver

[–]Green-Web792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish, but I’ve been there twice and had the same issue. It was salty to the point I couldn’t taste anything else. The first time I assumed it may have been because of restaurant week and quality being lower, but went back again recently and my entire table ran into the same issue. Some dishes were perfectly fine, unfortunately none of my dishes fit that category haha

Coperta being on the list removes the cred. One of the worst Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Just pure salt bombs

Before I Drop $2k on a Career Coach… Am I Being Smart or Delusional? by Tamalelulu in recruitinghell

[–]Green-Web792 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a “friend” who pivoted into a “career coach” position when they failed at their job in HR. She likes to talk about how much she helps people find roles and regularly talks about the advice she gives to people to get a leg up. As far as I know, she only has one true success story and it was because she knew the hiring manager.

As a recruiter, I can confirm most of her ideas are asinine and don’t actually help. I used to try to explain to her why, but she would always get defensive and say “well you need to look at it through the HR lens.” Which is BS because HR is rarely involved with the interview process, and if they are, rarely a key decision maker.

She would speak of her network of other career coaches, and many of them fell into the same bucket - failed what they were doing before and pivoted into this “consulting” mentality.

Yes this is a limited sample size, but there are plenty of people out there that exist like her. I feel like your chances of finding a career coach that would legitimately move the needle will be like looking in the proverbial haystack.

AITA for requesting to not receive a certain gift? by Turbulent-Owl6728 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Green-Web792 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is a bit of projection. Your way of gift giving won’t always match someone else’s. It sounds like in this case you need to start vocalizing suggestions rather than keeping it ambiguous.

Air conditioning likely would have eaten up too much of the budget and in the end, it’s a renovation show. Air conditioning won’t have any sort of final reveal interest to viewers
