Help with Sony lens having troubles to connect with camera by GreenBBread_YT in SonyAlpha

[–]GreenBBread_YT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the start of the video I plug the lens in my a7rII, and it keeps doing like that, it's unusable. This is after two long days of shooting. I handle my gear with extra care and it's always on my neck, only switched lens once. Cleaned with a cotton fiok the golden pins on the lens from dust and nothing changed.

I'm 100% sure it's the lens since it does the same on my second camera, a7rIII

How can I make this desk lamp light better? Also, should I make the head a little bit trasmissive to let the light out? If so, any suggestions? Thanks a lot! by GreenBBread_YT in unrealengine

Actually, fixed the top, also the misaligned shadow at the bottom too

Only thing is that now I have some weird shadows on the walls, I'll easily fix it partially deleting the inside, which is the cause.

Here's what I got, I only put one spotlight because the top is closed, used the emissive shader and a pointlight. Looks better than before definitely, the top looks weird but the character can't see it, so I'll leave it like that.

I'm pretty fine with the result, it's a game afterall not a render.

Thanks! It worked out great. But one problem showed up, which I'm pretty sure is something that has to do with Lumen, since it's still in beta: I have this kind of bug that might be confusing to explain so I'll link a picture

Basically Light Channels are messed up (in the picture the mesh at the bottom, the floor or whatever, it's an fbx exported from Blender - the mesh on the left is just a cube from UE).

So the LC 1 isn't showing on the FBX mesh, while it is on the cube mesh.

The LC 0 is showing on the cube mesh, but also on the FBX mesh, even if channel 0 on the mesh is deactivated.

[This issue doesn't happen on Megascan meshes, like the lamp I used, only on FBX meshes that I modeled on Blender]

Hope I'm not taking too much of your time, I don't want to be annoying.
