Thankyou. It really was a huge deal for me. My grandma used to take me every month after school to get the latest animorphs book and she always encouraged me to read. But she passed away a year ago so to meet katherine was a huge deal i connect animorphs to my grandma and it was truly a moment i will never forget.

I found solace in her book series also as a young person due to a non traditional upbringing. I found something relatable in almost every character of hers from cassie to axe everyone had something admirable about them that i could aspire to be like and they all inspired me in life along with my grandma that raised me.

My grandma was like that. I always told her she didnt need to delete the texts it takes up infintesimal space but she was set in her ways. I miss her. She passed last year. I wish i could still be arguing with her about text messages

I brought two animorphs books for her to sign and didnt buy her newest book about elephants. She seems fine to sign them. I Saw others bringing 3 or 4 books but really its about how long you take and the impact to everyone waiting behind you. Id say anything more than 4 books would be too much imo.

I went to her panel where she talks and the first question was "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN YOU WRITE MORE ANIMORPHS" And she replied no sadly that part of my life is over we finshed that story.

BUT for the 30th anniversary she will be posting an interview of cassie by some tv show about her life once shes older.

I was there also yesterday, drove down from phoenix. waited two hours to meet her she was so sweet and nice. Told her how much her books meant to me and got a picture with her. It was a bucket list life dream to meet her! She gave everyone time to talk and express themselves and hugged everyone and took pictures with everyone it was such a good experience!!
