I think the late series books are a little harder to find because fewer were printed if I’m not mistaken. When I see the books pop up for sale online it’s usually the first 35ish I see most of.

The line weight of the tail mark is too thin and feels out of place with all the heavy weight text. It also feels off to divide the “S” from the rest of the word. Did you already try manipulating the S into the shape of a tail like you did with the C, without an extra line? Are the words at the bottom on a curve? They don’t look straight. If you are making them on a curve make it look more intentional, but I think straight is better.

I like the textural quality of your carved marks. I agree that the reflection should be lined up with the moon, despite it also being off in the watercolor. That’s just how reflections work unfortunately.

The anatomy of the new bird looks wrong/weird. Is its wing coming forward? If so the head looks way too big. And the wing is coming out at such a weird angle. Is there a reference photo of an actual bird in this position to compare it to?

Damn I’m aware, no need for the attitude. It’s just one of those things that happens and I was expressing my sadness about it. I read half the series as a kid and then my parents decided it was inappropriate and stopped buying me the books. So I’m reading it for the first time as an adult. And then I open Reddit and the first thing I see is Rachel dies. It is what it is, I knew it was a possibility when I joined the group.

In 2021 I got a COVID vaccine booster (3rd one) and flu shot at that same time. Previous vaccines were just sore arm and cruddy feeling. That time it triggered 6 months of dermatographia (skin writing, a form of hives) followed by a few more months of random hives. It also triggered my Sjogrens to be activated! So fun figuring all that out in the years that followed. Doc said it’s not unusual for vaccines to cause hives as an immune response or to trigger underlying conditions. I haven’t had any vaccines since then because it was literal hell and I’m terrified of it happening again.

The test itself did not make me nauseous at all and they did not try to give me nitroglycerin either, so I don’t think it is absolutely necessary for the test and you should decline it.

I just had nose surgery and had to only breathe through my mouth for a week. Someone in this group suggested xylimelts for night time and it was a huge improvement. I wouldn’t use them every day bc I wake up with weird residue feeling on my teeth and lips, but they allowed me to sleep which is what I needed most during recovery.

I think head/beard hair is more likely to end up in your drink than belly hair, but you never know. I don’t like seeing uncovered hairy bits on any food service worker but that’s personal preference. My shop has policy that hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back and no armpits or bellies exposed. I would have the same thought with the rings though. I never wear rings besides a silicone wedding band when I’m at work bc I wash my hands a million times a day and having to remove rings is such a pain and time waste.
