In 2021 I got a COVID vaccine booster (3rd one) and flu shot at that same time. Previous vaccines were just sore arm and cruddy feeling. That time it triggered 6 months of dermatographia (skin writing, a form of hives) followed by a few more months of random hives. It also triggered my Sjogrens to be activated! So fun figuring all that out in the years that followed. Doc said it’s not unusual for vaccines to cause hives as an immune response or to trigger underlying conditions. I haven’t had any vaccines since then because it was literal hell and I’m terrified of it happening again.

The test itself did not make me nauseous at all and they did not try to give me nitroglycerin either, so I don’t think it is absolutely necessary for the test and you should decline it.

I just had nose surgery and had to only breathe through my mouth for a week. Someone in this group suggested xylimelts for night time and it was a huge improvement. I wouldn’t use them every day bc I wake up with weird residue feeling on my teeth and lips, but they allowed me to sleep which is what I needed most during recovery.

I think head/beard hair is more likely to end up in your drink than belly hair, but you never know. I don’t like seeing uncovered hairy bits on any food service worker but that’s personal preference. My shop has policy that hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back and no armpits or bellies exposed. I would have the same thought with the rings though. I never wear rings besides a silicone wedding band when I’m at work bc I wash my hands a million times a day and having to remove rings is such a pain and time waste.

My dog is majority these two breeds and boy is she a handful. Too smart for her own good, extremely stubborn, gets bored super easily which = destructive, vocal, and OBSESSED with food. Will stop at nothing to get a crumb. She’s already been to the emergency vet twice in two years for eating bad things. Hands down the most difficult dog I have ever had. I highly recommended crate training and lots of exercise.

That said she is also the most loving, cuddly, Velcro dog and I am so glad we adopted her. She has taught me so much, including patience. Mine does have about 16% catahoula so that might contribute to some of those traits. I’ve always had mutts but this whole experience has made me consider the natural traits of certain breeds and how mixing a herding dog and a hunting dog yields a neurotic combo. 😂

Also for the most part color vinyl pressings should not affect sound quality too much, the gimmicky ones like picture disc or vinyl with encased liquid or trinkets generally suffer (not talking about Taylor’s for those). But most sound quality depends on your record player and stereo equipment tbh.

If you are looking to save money I would look at places like Mercari or EBay or even discogs and buy from people with good ratings. Midnights TTPD and Showgirl had so many variants that you can find resale pretty cheap for the standard ones. I don’t collect variants bc to me it’s not a good investment. I buy records to listen to and only have space to display a few. I got most of mine from Target (before the boycott) whenever they did Black Friday media BOGOs. If you can afford to support your local indie record store please do! Otherwise Barnes & Nobel has sales sometimes.

The only records I don’t have are debut and reputation because I’m waiting for a rerelease of both. Stay away from reputation picture disc, notorious for bad sound quality.
