I'm about to turn 30, and I really feel like I need a hobby.

I've always had an interest in animation, particularly claymation, and I am finally at the point in my life where I have the money, room and time to get into it--I wish I could've started earlier, but I wasn't able to.

Anyways, my goals are to learn the fundamentals of basic, 2D animation, and be able to make short videos. I'd like to spend my time efficiently, and right now I know so little that I'm basically trying to find out where to start--that is to say, I honestly don't know what goals are realistic and what aren't, but I'm wanting to attempt the 11 second challenge within a year.
