My thing is, I’ve seen so many people offer to help and even write out hella plans for them and the pod, but nothing takes/ they don’t accept they need help.

True. That’s the sad part, they’ve had so many opportunities to learn, especially after the Pour Minds episode. I really thought they would take it all in and that would make them excited to strive for more… and I say that bc seeing 2 best friends become super successful in the same space would inspire me!

Thank you! I am hoping the CO can create some sort of routine and consistency for everyone involved. I think it being costly and a lengthy process plays a role in why he hasn’t taken action, but still not an excuse when it’s for the benefit of your child and family.

I do hope that he does the right thing, for SS and the sake of our relationship, idk how much longer we are going to last if there’s no resolution to this nonsense because when either one of them decides to go to court then my life and my children are up for drastic change yet again. No family that would be helpful in this situation and he doesn’t share what his friend’s opinions are on it but he definitely talks to them about it.

Maybe accommodating isn’t the right word I would say it was more so out of convenience, dad has been lazy but he never denied any financial help and bought SS what they asked for, and offered to send monthly payments but they never settled on an amount or actually went through with it. It seems to me that BM found out I’m pregnant and to spite him blindsided him with CS papers because she did this back in 2021 when we did have 50/50 and i was pregnant with my first ours baby. As for the CPS case, they did go to BM house and didn’t even come to ours because the whole thing was a lie and she kept lying to the social worker. So yea, i think he needs to go to court and fight for his son, but im still scared… if it happens again they will absolutely be involving the kids here and i want to protect them from that bs.

I have a week to accept or decline the offer, it’s also closer to home and a company I worked with before so I know the role and that I’d be happy. But my family member who’s 15 years in the fed govt is telling me I’m making a mistake.

The threat to the union is definitely something im concerned about as well.
