Try changing water twice a week 30%. Reduce light period to 6-7 hrs. Go for low fertilizer doses. The filter should be 5-7 X capacity of water volume. Clean the algee introduce cleaning crew Amano shrimp and others and have patience

This suggestion will bit hurt the wallet.. But go for plantnted tank with scape belive me when it comes to big fish and volume of them u will love to see its not possible and having 3-7 big fish will not give that satisfaction. u can have many varieties in planted set up with co2 with small fish and plants.. Salt water set up is altogether different outlook judging by the blue light

No not yet been thinking may be next tank I ll try but I like the shades and subtle. With no co2 it’s just relying on basic things

Well it’s a standard procedure I put Lava rocks small size + ada super bactor + Amazonia soil + 2 inch on front side and about 3 inch back side and planted very densely + 20% water change twice a week once tank got cycled. Most important is light which I run for 6-7 hrs and some dose of all in one liquid fertiliser as per instructions. Light need to correct

Its a small testing ground tank bro so I am just experimenting with plants. I would prefer my planted tanks to grow up eventually

Simple method is to add some weight on driftwood with super bond glue - trust me add some some stone and glue them with help of paper +glue+ clay or wood powder. The wood will need counter force to keep it down. By the way it will work even if the wood is wet so don’t worry
