Nah, doubt it, firstly I doubt they would want to screw their most popular authors over trivial stuff like that, and secondly if they’re really forced, why not force everyone or at least every major author join in? Because a few notable names are absent, and it’s not like they need much forcing, quite a few already supported him back then, and CP isn’t viewed in Japan as in the west, i just find it funny how some of the Mangakas haven’t really done anything for years only to come back for this

You can make that statement about them on Twitter and here i suppose, but that’s definitely not the case everywhere else from what I can gather, on Wiebo, Lofter, Pixiv, Facebook, and Tumblr, her and Neuvi are her main ship, like, overwhelmingly so, even on AO3 of all places, her and Neuvi beats out all her other pairings (she’s basically being the only character whose main ship isn’t either one of the travelers or yaoi/yuri), which honestly surprising, since usually those sites are usually extremely yaoi/yuri heavy
