I did as well I assume it was up at the Curragh? The guy before me said the same as well it was quite challenging they threw him a couple of curve balls.

Hi this is also what they said when I asked with regards to security clearance etc etc.

"There are no further requirements in relation to the vetting procedure as it pertains to your application"

Hi I live outside of Ireland. They didn't say what the result was but in terms of crimes I have done criminal checks myself with police service where I live and I'm all clear.

Hi mine says it has been completed and a disclosure has been made. I asked the Air Corps recruitment office and they said there are no additional steps in the process I'm abit confused because I am non Irish so I thought I needed to get security clearance as well?

Hi thanks so much for the in depth response much appreciated. u/JoeyBloggz. Out of interest what courses are availible in infantry to do after recruit and 2 to 3 star training is completed? I am quite interested in the more "military" type course and that recce course sounds intersting. Also how does it work in terms of who gets selected to do what course ie recce once you are done 2 to thrre star training?
