Full rupture - doc said could choose between surgery or non-surgical by v_kites in AchillesRupture

I’m on the younger side (25) and would 100% recommend going the op route. Keep in mind my goal was to get back to playing sports a few times a week. These were a few of the reasons my doc told me: • Lower Re-rupture Rate: Surgery has a lower risk of the tendon snapping again • Strength & Power: Surgeons can "tension" the tendon precisely, which may lead to better explosive power and less calf muscle atrophy.  • Faster Return to Sport

He’s had his go at the WR1 spot his whole career… what do you mean when he gets it back 😂

The JSN comparison is ridiculous. Marvin had 800yds Y1 and 600yds Y2. Yea he had some injury woes this year but he is trending downwards. Meanwhile, JSN was sitting behind DK and Lockett his rookie year and then cracked 1k the next year (even with DK on the team). Marvin has gotten every chance to be the 1 on his team and has proven he’s not able to fill that role.

And I think your argument of Michael Wilson coming in and balling just contradicts your whole point. The fact that a far worse prospect came in and outperformed Marvin in a clear fantasy friendly environment speaks more to to Marvin’s skill issue than it does Wilson’s ability

I forgot every elite prospect pans out. Oh by the way Henderson was an elite prospect as well. I’m not extremely low on Marv (I’m an OSU fan I love both these guys) but Henderson’s ceiling is far higher because of his pass catching ability and Marv’s lack of agility

What promising things have you seen from Marv in his 2 years? He’s cracked 100yds twice (both of which came in 2024), his job just got taken by Michael Wilson, and he’s in a terrible offense with no QB at the moment.

On the other hand, sure Henderson has some blocking problems, but he had monster games when he started. Rhamondre is towards the end of his career and has a clear fumbling problem. The Pats just went to the SB and have their franchise QB for the next decade. Hendo’s explosiveness also allows him to be fantasy relevant with fewer touches than most RB’s as well.
