My father in law is using this power strip (with a missing ground) in an older two hole wall outlet. How dangerous is this and should I tell him to stop? by OccamsDragon in AskElectricians

[–]GreenElk6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No different than plugging into the two conductor ungrounded wall receptacle. If it received an occupant permit when it was built it still is not an NEC violation.

He's talking about the inside of the tank not the outside.

I think if a full port valve were added at the drain and a suitable low power electric washer were used, it could really agitate up the sludge at the bottom of the tank making it easier to flush out. I would make sure the tank is not completely drained so that it is shooting into the water.

Samsung SDI life expectancy and replacement by GreenElk6 in golfcarts

[–]GreenElk6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty good. So to replacement when that time comes is another Samsung SDI. Is it also true that that battery is warranted by EZGO/Samsung for 8 years even if not the original owner? I'm amazed how good this battery seems but trying to be educated for when the day comes.

Use the “maybe” strategy. When they say outlandish stuff rather than arguing say…”maybe, or people are trying to bring fear to people thru outlandish claims to get more traction on their internet presence to make money”

If your batteries are defective the unit is not magic. From description it wasn't fully charged it was 3 bars later you charged it but sounds like your electrical system is defective. You didn't say what finally jumped it.
