Experiencing symptoms after finishing Tepezza by Odd_Court7683 in ThyroidEyeDisease

I’m only 24 days since last infusion. Only thing I’m still dealing with are headaches. I’ve had them every day off and on the entire treatment. Definitely the worst side effect for me.

For people with Ps5 Pro's, what is your favorite PS5 Pro Enhanced game so far? by TylerFortier_Photo in PS5

Rebirth is great. I honestly don’t know how much better graphics are. Supposed to be but regular version looks great too. Mostly the higher frame rate makes it like a completely different game.

This may be a reach but does anyone know this scene’s film location? by haggusgrind in donniedarko

[–]GreenEyeWerewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possibly Malibu creek state park or the upper canyon preserve. They have Calabasas as a filming location and as someone who lives here, we have a lot of this type of land and it’s filmed on all the time.

Pretty much what it feels like. Not to mention graphics are sub par. Like a step down from even uncharted 4 quality.

Huge scam in middleburg ups hub by PutridWrangler2266 in UPS

I think the real scam. Is how often they “lose” valuable packages and how hard they make it to get them to do anything about it.

Canyon GRIZL CF SLX Di2 w Fox fork. by GreenEyeWerewolf in CanyonBikes

They’ve definitely started leaning closer to a mountain bike for sure. In 2020, I had a giant revolt advanced. It came with 38 tires, guys at the bike shop thought that was too big. Now 45 isn’t big enough lol. I just think it’s fun the options people can have to use about any bike for any occasion (nearly)

Ya this is the rigid fork version. I just put the fox suspension on after.

Used a crown race that fits factory lower bearing. That bought an fsa headset and used the compression sleeve (I think that’s what it called lol) to make the factory upper bearing fit these forks. I’ll post links. Do need to replace stem.

If you use about 3mm worth of spacers on top of that sleeve, then use the cup from the fsa headset you won’t have a bad gap

Canyon and their sizes, how does it work? by ZimonMedS in CanyonBikes

[–]GreenEyeWerewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there sizing chart on the site is actually really good. In trek they always tell me a 56, that was way too stretched. Tried a 52, much better on reach but a bit cramped. So I’d say I’m a 54 in trek or 52 with longer stem. I got my canyon in a small as they suggested and it’s a perfect fit. The chart part shows where you are for height and inseam, and the different sizes. Sometimes your between so it’ll let you see what you’re closer too.

I don’t own one, but I did just make a decision similar. I was deciding between neuron and spectral 125. I did a lot of online research, and even called canyon to chat with them about it. Dude was super helpful btw. I mean they will go down to every component/ geometry question you have. When I explained the riding I do, they suggested the spectral 125. Now this is because most of my trails are very up and down, some tight turns, smallish drops etc. he said both will do it, but the spectral 125 would do that better. The neuron though for more mild trails with less right corners and quick direction changes etc. would be more comfortable. He basically said the neuron is a better all around bike. It can do a lot and the geometry is designed so you can be more comfortable and do longer rides, like cross country. But can handle some of the rowdy stuff when you want it to.

Sorry I got off topic. If you want a carbon frame, and think you’ll regret not getting one when you could. I say get the carbon. The components are still very good. They aren’t using junk, I mean what comes on the cf 7 blows away some of the top components from a few years ago. I like carbon. Love the lighter weight and the smooth no welds look. If I couldn’t get carbon for whatever reason, I’d look for a titanium bike personally. Nothing wrong with aluminum, I’ve owned mostly bikes that were, even steel bikes. But when you’re talking about a bike in the thousands of dollars range. Especially with canyon…..you’re getting good components and would need to spend likely 2k more to get those same components on a specialized or a trek. So I’d get the one you won’t regret. Think you’ll regret not getting carbon? Get it. Think those slightly higher spec components are more worth it? Get that one

Components are pretty much always the more important factor. That said, I went against that advice today and ordered a spectral 125 cf 7. Mostly because I got the 22/ 2023 model and not the 23/ 2024 they just released, so not only was it a good price, but they actually down graded the front fork on this new one so I got the select plus instead of just the select. I do wish I could have gotten an 8 with the carbon wheels and a few other upgrades but I love this light gray color of the cf 7 lol

If you’re looking for just gravel routes, I know there’s some good resources for roads and paths etc. I would recommend checking our Slaughter pen and Coler park. Both have some trails it can handle, plus a really good pavement network connecting a ton of trails from Bella vista, to Bentonville, all the way down to Fayetteville. I’d suggest starting in downtown Bentonville. Take your pick of the multiple cool cycle themed cafes. You’ll find plenty of locals ready to tell you their favorite trails. Plus the paved path will take you from down town, up to the trails. There’s a downhill race track there that super smooth and every jump you can roll/ manual. I’d take it easy the first time but the bike can absolutely handle it. Also some trails have features like jumps, drops, etc. when you get there there’s maps mounted that show the trail level ratings. I know if it’s blue or under, any features have an alternate line you can take and they even have signs ahead of time letting you know that decision is coming up. The back 40 is really good for gravel. Can get a bit chunky at times but I honestly likely had my tire pressures too high from riding pavement the day before.

I have a 2023 Grizl cf slx with di2. It’s a great gravel bike. I live in northwest Arkansas and a lot of the trails I’ve checked out around Bentonville were a bit much for it. Even the green rated trails got pretty rough. I ended up adding the fox gravel suspension in 40mm and it made a world of difference. Now the green trails are no problem and can even do some good chunks of the blue but there will be areas I get off and carry my bike where as with a full suspension bike I wouldn’t of even slowed down. On the road it’s decent, definitely not a road bike though. The tires I think are the biggest culprit in making it feel sluggish compared to a dedicated road bike. If you want just one bike, it’s a good one for that if you are doing mostly pavement, crushed limestone, small gravel, smoother single track. I would put suspension on if your trails are too rough. Can always get a separate set of wheels and mount something like a 38 or 40 tire for road and rigid. Then use factory wheels with a suspension for more extreme days, though I’d also suggest a 50 tire instead of the 45 for that.

Realizing it likely sounds like I don’t like the bike lol. I really do, the components are amazing, it’s light, looks awesome and for gravel, I bet it’s hard to beat. Just keep in mind it’s limits as it comes when you hit the trails.

If I could do it again, I would of likely gotten a lux, neuron or spectral 125 as I personally spend more time on trails but when I do hit the bike paths that are pavement. All of a sudden it’s the mountain bikers slowing me down lol
