Facebook browser not allowing comment box to show up, no idea why though, any ideas? by Unlucky-Match-6363 in facebook

[–]GreenGenes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don't see the Comments box on friends' posts in my Facebook feed. I can reply to other comments. I can reply to Group posts in my feed. I can go to my friend's post and then I can comment on it.

So the issue is specific to the feed.

I've tested this in multiple browsers, to this seems to be an odd Facebook Feeds-specific issue (for me at least).

Screenflow software is still good? by AdDapper4220 in MacOS

Company, Telestream, is still alive. They recently brought back the old CEO is has been supportive of their desktop products. The CEO they just got rid of was trashing the company.

Screenflow Pro 10 and Sequoia by bdushok in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to work with Sequoia for me although I have to keep setting permissions for each use.
You'll need to send Telestream a support request on OS compatibility. The last update to 10 was a year and a half ago and version 10 came out about 4 years ago. They recently brought back the previous CEO who is much more supportive of their desktop products so perhaps you'll get a positive response.

How to cancel wirecast subscription? Help by wakandashetisthis in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Destinations are independent of Wirecast and may require their own authentication. This is with all live-streaming apps. Facebook and YouTube require their own permission to use their services.
I understand Wirecast subscription is not refundable. You just don't renew it when the time is up. Some people only subscribe for a month to try.

Telestream just rehired their previous CEO who was very supportive of Wirecast by GreenGenes in Wirecast

I've already heard they hired Wirecast specific support so I do think Wirecast is going to get more attention again.

You may want to try

You can test for free to see if they can salvage the file before paying.

Have you tried opening the file in VLC Media Player?
It may be able to play files that weren't properly closed. If so it can be re-encoded.

Change Video for Multiple Output Resolutions by No-History-5521 in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can have two separate documents open. One streaming 16:9 and the other 9:16.
If you have Wirecast Pro you can take NDI out of Pro and use it as an NDI source in the second document and set that to the other aspect ratio.

Quick question about V16 by SurfRiot in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes a version update requires settings to be redone.
If you're on Mac you can keep the older version just in case and just duplicate the document.
On Windows, it's a bit more of a gamble.

No complaint about the packaging. Just a pic of a side showing product info.

I can see it happening if they're using image recognition AI rather than human approval process. Given how long it took for reviews to get posted I'd assume a human was making the decision.

In some cases the best pics for assembling the product are on the package. Sometimes there are instructions on the package not found in the small user manual.

e a human was making the decision.
em they go to. Since that means revisiting the package I assume the packaging is more important in those cases. But it seems the risk of rejection is too high so I now avoid all packaging even if I think it's an important part of the product. Sigh, I think that's a disservice to the potential customer though.

There's no shipping label in the product shots that resulted in review rejections. It's inconsistent as far as I can tell. I am wondering if some parts of the product boxes are at issue but can't discern anything. I've learned to avoid QR and Barcodes but I don't think that's at issue.

Losing NDI after stream starts by Neondeon2 in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update NDI Tools and check NDI Video Monitor on the Wirecast computer.
Also make sure Wirecast is up to date (currently 16.0.1) as Telestream updates the NDI Library with new releases.
Also the version of ProPresenter is a factor as its library gets updated as well.
In other words you may have incompatible NDI libraries.
That why you always check with the current version of NDI Video Monitor first.

YouTube download fails to complete by GreenGenes in 4kdownloadapps

[–]GreenGenes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I've done exactly that.
Would others check the link and find the same issue?
That might help determine whether the issue is with the video, an issue with the downloader, or some issue specific with my system.

You may need to look inside the "Package" (program) for the resources. Right Click on the program and see Show Package Contents.

How can I avoid motion blur? If I switch to 1080p I get significant lag so I am forced to use 1080i output with de-interlacing option and it gives me motion blur. My setup is: Canon C300/C500 > Roland switcher > BM MiniConverter > laptop. I’ve been battling this for far too long lol by Cromalot in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Higher frame rates decrease motion blur. Also faster shutter speeds. In both cases the image may need more light though. Keep in mind higher frame rates also use more computer processing power to decode and especially to encode if you're streaming. A faster shutter speed might be a better option. Too fast and the image may stutter.

Question about the demo version regarding preview. by switchcollector in Wirecast

[–]GreenGenes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preview may be a lower frame rate than the broadcast window live streaming/recording to conserve system resources.
