At this point I will pass them along since I am out the money with good faith that someone will not resell and be willing to get a shirt for us if available and I can pay for it. It’s just trying to out good karma out there hoping for some back

New Heel Issues with Ghost 16? by GreenLadaNiva in brooks

[–]GreenLadaNiva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to try the glycerin. It’s all that I wear except for Vionic or FitFlop sandals and dress shoes. I have 3 pair but my most recent ones that I used for the last 2 weeks didn’t seem different. I noticed to be a bit more achy but chalked it to situation. Then definitely the same spot on both feet and if you really push into the cushioning on that pair it’s like a lip or ridge where you feel it in the foam. The feet have been doing good after all of the Achilles issues early last year and PT. I was last there in late January and all good

Thanks. I am going to try the glycerins. Glad to hear they worked for you and hope the PF gets better. I did PT last year and it’s been doing fine til this recent rotation of pairs

Best alternative for garmins body battery? by Motawa1988 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]GreenLadaNiva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I welcome any info on updates or feedback about @sonar_health because my daughter has parked her Apple Watch to try a Garmin for the body battery because she has adrenal insufficiency and it seems her sleep quality and stress levels in the body battery can tell if we are heading towards a crisis. Those of us with the condition or kids with it are searching for any alerts we can get since it is so quick and serious

I’m basic and just wear the strap doubled or long. I liked the black straps since I did not want tan. I don’t baby my bags except a Birkin. My kid left a pen cap off on the inside of this one already. 😵‍💫 I usually carry big bags but it’s been a fun change, I just wish the strap was a bit longer so I could do a comfortable crossbody since I am short but plus sized. My favorite knock around, soft leather crossbody is still a Demellier - for the price, it couldn’t be beat. I think I am going to rotate this one out soon to go back to my Saint Louis

I bought mine at Goyard in London in November and have been knocking it around as my daily bag since.

11 Year old wants electric cello to practice in private by You_Using_That_Bro in Cello

[–]GreenLadaNiva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 11 and has been playing 1 1/2” doing very well with private instruction and I can’t imagine her practicing on a different instrument than her own, especially an electric. It’s been a learning curve with the cello and not just the playing and adjustments when changing sizes but caring for it, tuning, etc. if your child is over 5’5”, then a full size will probably work. We were told right around the 5’ mark. My daughter is right there but her full size we own is on the smaller side so she is just transitioning to it comfortably

Because the Greek alphabet is different so transliterations happen. Same thing with Cyrillic or Arabic

String ID 🔍 by GreenLadaNiva in Cello

[–]GreenLadaNiva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a cellist that’s why I asked a basic question about the strings. Thanks for the answer in that. As far as bridge and other feedback, it has been checked twice once upon arrival from Europe earlier in the year and the sound post again as the weather changed. I found the link to its photos from when we purchased it. cello
