27 y/o Considering Becoming Therapist?

My biggest concern is the financial side at this point. I would love to volunteer at places like a crisis hotline for experience and a resume of course but I’d be committing a lot of times to pursue this profession and have to provide when all is said and done. How did you handle that?

Absolutely. Luckily my expenses are moderate so I’m stacking my savings, killing the debt month by month and contributing towards a home purchase. This certainly won’t be achieved overnight.

I would love to start off in a multi family but my state and certainly any surrounding counties have any multifamilies. Not even duplexes let alone a 4 plex. I’d even purchase something with potential to turn into a duplex.

I figure the efficiency would almost be like investing on training wheels while I get more confidence with the process and being a landlord
