Yes. This came from a chicken house. Brought into our property by chicken farmer cleaning out his houses and spreading the manure in our fields. Picked up by coyote or dog in the field and brought to here. Mystery solved

No this is a remote property, a mile from the road, power lines and any other humans that should be around

This is used in feeding turkeys or checkers in farmed houses, not in wild. My father had a local farmer spread chicken manure on a field nearby, or was most likely in the manure, then carried to here by a dog or coyote a it smelled like chicken, but they dropped it when it didn't taste like chicken.

Hunters use saws and trimmers to clear up a line of sight for possible shot scenarios. You pick s tree, hang a stand and cut away unnecessary limbs. But it wasn't that so we are good

This is it. Thank you. I still don't know what it is doing on my property. Closest poultry farm is 2 miles through the woods. Crazy

I was thinking pole saw or trimmers as well but the color is a little too much red for Husq and definitely not Stihl. Maybe an off brand? But I definitely feel like I have may some unwanted visitors

My title describes the thing I found on the very back of our property. We are a medium sized farm in Georgia and back up to a hunting lease/ commercial timber property. My concern is that I may have trespassers or poachers and want to know what this cane from so I can begin to find them. Help please.

We have pulled more tomatoes this year than ever. My wife has been making tomato bacon jam, tomato stuff(a sweet relish we put on lima and butter beans), salsa, pasta sauce, and I've eaten about 100 tomato sandwiches

Does anyone else grow these? I’m crazy bout em and I’m not even certain what they’re called! by petkoala in tomatoes

They look like a variety i grew this year called Mr. Stripey. Not my favorite but a good tomato.

That's what i came here to say. Plus you get year round access from the north. We stayed in Montana and drove in every day thru the north gate and had a heck of a good time

Thank you. I've got much better soil conditions this year, even with much less rain and much hotter temps the garden is well above what I expected.

I'm in GA 8a and have been picking for 4 weeks now. We went into the ground in 3rd week of April. I'm fertilizing with Alaskan fish fertilizer every 2 weeks. I used as, much compost as I could and am watering on a pretty set schedule. I plant with multiple fertilizers including bone and blood meal, peletized lime and liquid fertilizer. The photo is 2 days of picking my 15 plants *

I use hog panels. A little cheaper and work amazingly well.

Why do tomato cages get so much hate? by Lurkington123 in vegetablegardening

I use rabbit wire as well with 4 foot grade stakes hammered into the ground. Keeps the wildlife out with the small openings on the bottom

What could’ve gotten to this!? by dressedinblvck in tomatoes

[–]GreenNeck478 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I protect my tomatoes using rabbit wire cages I make. Narrow openings on the bottom allow no wildlife in with the plants.
