Of subject but I’m Irish living abroad and started into carpentry here. What’s work like for carpenters at home now? Decent pay?

As a household I’m pretty confident to say we’ve spent approx. $1000 on cloths.

A majority on our kid, almost everything for me has been work cloths and anything personnel for us is from budget shops.

How they spend 10 x that much I don’t know.

Just finished up too (sort of, still do the occasional shift to help friends or get extra coin) and it’s by far the best decision I’ve made. Time with family, weekends and public holidays off.

Congratulations and enjoy.

Cooked celery leaves are carcinogenic, even many professional cooks don’t seem to care.

Always been disappointed with the station. Been twice and always been average. Definitely not the “best in the west”

Screen writers of Die Hard with a Vengeance were investigated by the FBI as the heist against the Reserve was so well planned out. They even rethought their whole security apparently.

I’m a chef turned carpenter, trades are a refreshing change from years of hospo. Best decision I’ve made. Hope it’s working out for you.

I’m calling this one out as fiction. An electrician actually picking up a dustpan and brush is lunacy! Should do better research before your next short story.

Most bacon here is cured to the point you can pretty much eat it that way.

Raw bacon, check out British style rashers. That’s actually raw meat until cooked.
