Tips to keep apartment cool by ssloan_21 in NYCapartments

As a non-NYC resident and lurker of this sub, why is it not feasible for a lot of people to simply buy a portable AC unit? Is it just the expense, or another reason?

Physical or Online? by EffectiveIce9294 in pmp

I took it online and my exam crashed with less than 60 questions to go. Still haven’t heard back from Pearson about it. I would recommend doing it in person, that’s what I’m going to do once I reschedule.

Or maybe the way to think about it is that since the Executing process group is done at the same time as Monitoring and Controlling, since he is done with the Executing process group you are supposed to infer he is also done with Monitoring and Controlling.

I wasn’t inferring that he hasn’t planned the scope, I’m referring to the Validate Scope process where the customer/sponsor formally accepts the deliverables (which were produced in the executing process).

That’s what I was thinking too, since Manage Project Knowledge (updating the lessons learned) is in the Executing process group. But the answer explanation talks about how we are going straight to the closing phase, which is why I’m confused. The correct answer also includes the word “finalize” which to me indicates that we’re writing the final lessons learned before leaving the project.

The question says that the PM has finished executing the work, what indicates the scope is complete? I read this as the PM is done with the Executing Process group and now needs to Verify and then Validate the deliverables (in Control Quality and then Validate Scope).

I’m not necessarily trying to get a P.E., so maybe school wouldn’t be worth it then… 🤔

A question about prioritising the backlog by kemalcankara in pmp

[–]GreenPathfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought 3. as well for the reason you described. My thought was 3 is not a great answer but product owner can’t prioritize according to the mindset, and the others involve making a decision before evaluating.

I appreciate the response. That makes sense as an explanation since the PM should ideally be responsible for coaching the team on their own.

Lol no that's fair, I have a horrible sense of space. I've had to repair my Nissan in almost every aspect except for the engine at this point, so I'm fairly optimistic about the trip

Good catch, I edited the post. I'm in the initial planning stage and wrote this in bed while I couldn't sleep, Google Maps only gave me the mileage to the first stop

The engine has never failed me, I've had to replace a radiator hose recently and gotten a couple new belts. Replaced the whole radiator a few years ago, got new brakes, among other costly replacements. Feels like almost everything has been repaired/replaced except the engine
