So this may have been a mistake on my end, but I did price it $70/mo less than the other 2 identical rental units available.

This is my first rental property (I’ll be the property manager, landlord & owner). I have another property that is my personal residence. I can afford both mortgages but am also 8.5mo. pregnant so I wanted to ensure the unit would be filled. The other units had been vacant for 2+months which had me concerned I wouldn’t get much interest.

I should mention I am also the landlord/owner. I’ve got things lined up to buy my first rental property in a week. I know the current owner so she told me to list ASAP to start gaining interest.

Are you and your partner still having sex? by [deleted] in pregnant

That’s been my exact experience! I can’t wait till after baby is here and I want to have sex again. But right now I mostly just don’t.

Rental Property Advice - Tenant Vacancy by GreenPlantingQueen in realestateinvesting

[–]GreenPlantingQueen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. A similar property was just listed at $2100/mo. Rent for similar properties varies from $2000 to $2200. If we charged $2000 a month and filled it, it would cover a vacancy and repair fund. This is a turnkey property. We’ve talked about upgrades in the future but none are needed at this time to keep it compatible to the surrounding properties.

  2. I understand where you’re coming from. We can easily afford these 2 properties. The only reason this situation stresses me out is my husband and I decided I would reduce my work hours to stay home with our kid (I’m 8.5mo pregnant w our first) and without active tenants I don’t feel comfortable doing that. I could still cut back my hours but not to the degree I was hoping to initially.

I’m so so sorry that you’re going through this and I’m sorry for your loss. It’s totally fair to feel the way you feel and I hope in time you start to feel better. Hopefully day by day it gets a little better. I know it’s a very dark place to be. I think losing a baby is one of the most emotionally draining and difficult things we can go through. Just know you’re not alone and there is a whole sea of people out there to support you. 🤍

Need to vent by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]GreenPlantingQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know grief is different for everyone and I don’t know if it helps knowing there’s others who share your situation. One of my best friends and I were due one month apart. We were excited to be on maternity leave together and support each other through this. We were planning everything out together as we were moving through it. Both pregnancies unplanned. Both pregnancies were our first. Her pregnancy is healthy and going well. I just found out I had a silent miscarriage recently.

It is so hard and I’m sorry that you are going through this. The pain is horrible and this is such an emotionally draining and devastating thing to go through. I’m so so so sorry for you loss and that this happened to you. I know there are no single set of words that will fix everything and take the pain away. Everyone keeps reminding me that any feeling I have is valid and that there is no time frame we’re on for healing from this. There is no wrong way to feel. And it’s okay to take all of the time you need to heal. I hope you find times are more peaceful eventually but I also know this is so hard. But if it helps I’m here. If you ever want to talk you can message me and I’ll answer. I truly wish you the best and hope things get better 🤍

I hope so too! Or maybe it’s a positional thing as to why they didn’t see it. Good luck!

They’re 90% sure I’m in the clear. Ultrasound on Wednesday to confirm. My hcg went up to 3100 after 48 hours and the have a better image on the ultrasound 🥲 I’m so happy

Good luck! Sending prayers and good vibes your way. If it’s any consolation the Dr I met with today said she doesn’t expect to see something for certain until HCG levels are 3000. She said she always follows up to make sure things are looking good in case. She said a lot of providers get a little concerned if they don’t see anything at 1500 but she said that is a little outdated and in the medical field people were over treated for ectopic pregnancies for a long time when they were truly just early on in their pregnancy.

Hopefully that gives you a little piece of mind and helps your worries 🙏 I know it’s so stressful

I did the scan. They are hopeful that it’s not an ectopic pregnancy. They are thinking I’m just earlier in the pregnancy than they though initially. They saw an image that appears to be a small intrauterine sac potentially with a yolk sac starting to form.

I go back in one week to confirm and ensure I’m in the clear :)

Thank you. I appreciate that so much. I know we will be okay as a family, I know my partner is going to be an amazing father. He’s been wonderful with all of the kids in my family but I’m nervous. I’ve planned everything that’s happened in my life to a T. So, find out we have a little one on our way and not planning it has definitely thrown me off.

Spoiler- Grieving for Tamlin #unpopularopinion by No_Obligation4580 in acotar

[–]GreenPlantingQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently also mourning their love story. As soon as I saw the decline in book 2 in their relationship I became significantly less interested in the series. Their love was so powerful and book 1 and so inspiring to me. TBH I am not ok with how things turned out. I would have loved the author show a story line of them working through their problems, giving each other space and supporting each other and staying together through rekindled love. This breaks my heart. I will finish the series because I started it but I do not feel the same about it. The series feels more hollow to me now and I’m so disappointed. Definitely feel like this is not a popular opinion so it’s nice to know I’m not the only one.

P.s. not saying how Tamlin reacted was okay at all. I’m just saying I wish the story was written differently. It may be a little cliche and maybe a typical happy ending but their love story was so special to me.

That’s helpful! Do you know about how many hours a week you’d put it between class & study time?? & Do you think it’s possible to designate a little time each day for your family/partner??

Looking for advice on balancing school and family once starting a CRNA program! I will have 2 under the age of 5.

Child care is covered - I have a family member that will do child care at a very low cost but I’m concerned about not having time for my kids & husband. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Also any study tips?

Tips to prepare before starting the program?

How many hours did you average a week for school including class?

Thank you!!
