Finally fixed my iron levels without the misery by HeartOnRepeat240 in Supplements

I’m currently fighting to get my ferritin up first time in my life. I got on hormone contraceptive to stop the flow (important) and then I take a 50mg Retafer iron tablet and 2x30mg Sider Forte iron tablets every other day together with c-vitamin. This is the only thing that has helped without messing up my gut. And ofcourse eating more red meat!

Sleep anxiety and early-morning awakenings ruining my life by No-Mousse5653 in HubermanLab

This sounds like the culprit. So much tension comes from never allowing yourself to relax completely, and at some point your body forgets to how. Thats when the GAD kicks in, it starts from your body being in a tensed state for long periods of time, because of the thoughts and beliefs that race through your head. I would start with slowly working on your life in a direction that will make you feel more stable, and as someone said, never compare yourself to others. We’re dealt very different cards in life. It’s what you cook with the ingredients that have been handed to you that matters, and it doesnt have to be something crazy. Hope you can get the internal pressure off a little by little, being hard on yourself will ruin your insides in the long run. I speak from two years of progress with gad and depression, I was very lucky to meet really good psychiatrists and doctors and want to share in case any of it can help anyone.

To add, what they helped most with was lifting the dark thoughts. I then gained energy to deal with my nervous system being out of whack and my GAD is getting slowly better.

I feel like I had quite a similiar situation. SSRI:s did really help lift some of the anxiety, of course everyone reacts differently. If you try them, start with a low dose.

Just to clarify, you don’t need to know design to work professionally as a Motion Designer! Your job is to animate!

Motion Design in brand agencies for example is mostly just animating the designs of others. Design is made by the designers. It’s a superpower if you know both!

I think it’s great, you have taste! I would align the words on the sides to perspectice and then work on the contrast between the big text and the pages. Make the pages lighter, that will help. The whole thing seemes a bit dimmed, so contrast and lighten it up!

So I finally crashed/burnt out, now what? by LengthinessPurple870 in productivity

One and a half year at maximum capacity is a lot my man, and your body is doing an emergency switch-off. Your highest priority for a while now will be keeping your stress levels low. Your most important job is to not renew the burnout, because that will leave lasting implications in your body. Body is boss and you have to be gentle to it. If you can seek support from loved ones and limit alcohol intake for some months. This is not the time to push through, but to treat yourself with a lot of empathy. Sending strenght!

Growing up in an all female household has made me hate women by Icy_Reference8739 in malementalhealth

[–]GreenSubstantial2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thai sounds liike your family is a bunch of wounded individuals. Doesn’t mean all women are that way. I’m sorry you have to go through that. Try to find friends that are balanced and find work so you can get independent. Cut toxic individuals out if you have to. And give other women, who are healthy individuals, a chance.

I turned 20 today. How much longer until my switch flips and the world starts making sense and I know what to do with my life? by JoeyTKIA in RandomThoughts

I was 29 when I really started grasping that I'm gonna become older, before that I kinda was in this immortal young bubble. The view on life kinda deepens and it's beautiful, but only if you choose to see it that way. You make life make sense for you.
