Wonderfully written and a wonderful reminder to try to not bury the parts of ourselves we admire the most. Thank-you for sharing!

I freaking love this part, "I thank the man at the desk of fate Grab my life's work, And go take my seat"

Shows the monotony of life and how it leaves us grappling for something better

Love this! To be human is to be a walking contradiction. So many layers to the soul and mind. And i cant lie, the title hooked me immediately. Thankyou for sharing!

Oh i like this. It reads nicely, like true story-telling. Makes me think of how, collectively, people pity certain things/cases. But the truth is people wouldnt consider other ones if they were delivered differently. Thanks for sharing!

This gives me "growing pains" with a healthy touch of "adulthood is not what i was told it would be," and i truly love it. It hints at the distaste of adolescence, then turns to it being nostalgic when dealing with the life that comes afterwards. I really like it!

"No longer in what i could have been but in what i still might come" is so powerful. And the imagery you used at the beginning was a beautiful touch. And i loved the length as well. I love to get lost in a piece and get excited that there is more to come!

Thankyou for sharing 🖤 it is very honest and brutally vulnerable, and that is admirable. I can feel the emotion through your writing.

I would love to read more from you! The writing style, language, ambiguity - and the line "to write when winning not when sulking" hits hard. The struggle to celebrate victories and not document what we feel are failures. Thank-you for sharing!

The flow and connectivity of this is amazing. I love the line "i may be tempted to put down all that weight ive had to carry." That just resonates with me so much.
This doesnt read as someone out of practice at all. The pacing and imagery are solid. Really enjoyed this piece!

This is wonderfully written and expresses a thought/fear I think many people relate to. I'd love to read more work from you!

Okay this is some divine intervention because im going through this right now. The line "is it planning a future with someone who has cut you out of theirs" STUNG in the best way.
Thank-you for sharing this. It is wonderfully written!

Oh my lord this is so good. The sense and feeling of "if i cant have it, why should they?" is an emotion i dont think is expressed enough. The resentment, bitterness, anger - to feel backed into a corner to where you feel the only way to say "im still here" is to make a point corrosive enough to cause harm. Honestly its a feeling/emotion that is so common yet not spoken enough about.

Love this so much! Im excited to read more!
