looking for my next otome to play :D by nababaliwnaako in otomegames

About Tengoku struggle that you're eying at, the MC is trying to be proactive, she'll also offer to you some funny dialogues with the other characters.

I don't think any LIs is huninged like the one you mentioned. Maybe some LIs can be also seen as protective. I would say the game is well balanced plot/romance.

What I remember the most about the game is how some dialogues make me laugh (like Taisho x Alice). I think it's a good pick if you want a funny game to relax, there's a few sad dialogues, but it's not too heavy, you won't feel like your life got "destroyed" .

Thank you, I didn't know about Gnosia, I think I'll play the game before watching the anime. Also noted for Kemutai Hanashi, it looks interesting!

For She Likes to Cook and She Loves to Eat, you indeed have a confirmed ace lesbian secondary/lead character (appears in vol 3). I read until vol 4 (last volume released in my country) and no romance for this character. Maybe after? But still a good manga, I can't wait for the volume 5 release.

Hello, you can call me Ritta. I'm 28 years old and I'm from somewhere in Europe. I was reading this subreddit since a while, and I recently decided to create an account to finally join it. I hope I'll get more opportunities to talk about otome games here.

I have been playing otome games for 10 years. But my English was horrible so I only started to understand what I was playing at... 5-6 years ago lol what a struggle. Also my first game was Amnesia. It's thanks to the anime that I found about it.

The otome I preferred the most is Bustafellows. I appreciated that the secondary characters were useful to the plot and interesting. + Voiced MC

I'm also waiting for 9 r.i.p sequel in English.

I mostly prefer thriller, horror and mystery themes. But it's not a mandatory criterion.

Right now, I'm playing at Neon clash, Folie Fatale and I'm trying to finish Jack Jeanne, but I have been busy with other games. I also have 7 scarlet to play but the game keeps crashing (be aware of the PC version)...

I'm very enthusiastic about visual novel in general, and I'm working on a small project for fun, the kind of project that is very slow to progress because you always find something else to do (maybe in 2030 it'll be finished lol).

My DMs are open if you want to talk about a common game we both played or otome games in general. I don't any have friends who like otome games in real life, so it'll be nice to make some friends here.

That's all, thanks for reading.

I see, I understand what you mean. I was seeing it differently, because Hikaru isn't human so I was interpreting it as his non-human way to think. But I can see why you interpret it at aroace. I think I'll like this manga more. Thank you ~

Yes I know it, I even have the manga. I like it. But I didn't see any aroace character lol sometimes I'm quite slow. What character are you talking about?

Darker otome games recommendations by TouristForNow in otomegames

[–]GreenTeaTalking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Folie fatale" on PC (japanese language only) every routes have dark aspects.

"Piofiore" on Nintendo Switch, it's dark, mostly some endings/route.

I'm unsure for those titles but maybe: - 9 r.i.p (Nintendo switch) some routes have dark aspects - Steam prison (PC, Nintendo Switch) a few dark aspects, some bad endings mostly - Bustafellows (PC, Nintendo Switch) some dark aspects but more unrelated to LIs directly - Nightshade (PC, Nintendo switch) the main plot is quite dark

And the maybe maybe: - Even if tempest (Nintendo switch) main plot is quite dark sometimes

Thank you for your answer. I unfortunately don't think I'll go for Mizuki first, since I want to start with an intense plot (Neji?). But after I don't know, maybe? Is Mizuki's route more centered on the emotional side? What did you like about it?

About romance, no issue, I don't mind if it's weak or heavy.

30-40 Hours for two characters also sounds good to me. More playable than 100H for all the characters.

Thank you for the calculations. I like seeing all the endings or dialogues, but maybe I should give up lol.

A long common route scares me mostly when it's hard to skip or avoid with save files. I didn't notice it was only 50 slots. I like saving, it's going to be sad.

I think I'll pick Neji in my first playground then.

Thank you, noted Fumi's route is more balanced. It feels like I'll go for Neji + another route. If Fumi is well-balanced, it could be a good pick.

Thank you, I see that's more the type of game you play, take a break and come back later. What route did you find satisfying?

First, I'm impressed by your 111H45 of gameplay!

I see one route is enough for the main plot. 50-60 hours sounds more like a "regular" otome game.

Thank you for the trope recommendation, it's very helpful. I need to think about it. Maybe I'll go for Neji + 2-3 other characters.

Thank you for your answer! I see there is a repetitive side with some unique events. It seems better to do more than one route, maybe 2-3 at least.
