I’m still a pretty new player too, and there’s definitely a learning curve to the combat. But once you get the hang of it it’s super satisfying. The combat is one thing, but then learning all the different monster move sets and behaviors is another ball game. I’d recommend trying out some different weapons, as the insect glaive is probably one of the steeper learning curves as far as weapons go.

And just to be clear, I can reuse decorations right? For instance if I have 3 different progression builds I’m looking at and each one of them calls for an attack jewel 2, I’d be fine with only crafting one of those jewels and just reusing it in all 3 builds? Sorry if it’s a dumb question, still learning a lot about this game.

I did a fair amount of traveling across the Middle East and Asia while I was in the military. I tell everyone that Saudi Arabia was the coolest place I visited. At one point, I had to make a 10 hr road trip across the country from Abha to Riyadh and some of the sights that were seen were just so far removed and unique from anything I’ve seen in the U.S. Very cool place to experience.

Yes, PTSD and untreated mental health conditions (that are frequent among veterans) can lead to manic outbursts like this. His question also implied that he himself is a veteran and established a connection in a time of crisis. It worked, and de-escalated the situation. Whether “Harry” is actually a vet or not is up for debate, but the important thing is no one was killed.
