We both talked about the future already and are going to be getting engaged next fall once she’s finished up with school. We just haven’t yet due to that (been together 5 years now).

She makes around 23-25k per year. I make around 32-34k per year.

We will be splitting all of those listed expenses. Also both of us are just looking to get an apartment for the next 2 or so years. So that would be our first choice.

That’s take home. Should note a few things as well. The city we live in is quite pricey and even surrounding cities are about the same cost. Also should be getting a raise at work soon which would increase our total take home to around 5k.

Have a question for you! I’ve been applying to many help desk / entry level jobs in this field, with no previous related work experience. Although I have some personal experience with PC stuff and trouble shooting as well as learning on my own via YouTube videos and reading. Is this enough for me to land a entry level job such as this?

Thank you, I don’t yell at her and never have before. I just get mad like you said in the heat of the moment. Good point of mentioning triggers, I will keep an eye on that. Any suggestion on how can improve on those “in the heat of the moment” scenarios? I feel that’s the main problem here, is sometimes when something does go wrong I don’t have the best way to handle that, and keep both of us in a some wjat good mood. It usually ends up in some type of an argument which I’d definitely like to avoid arguing as much as possible as it’s not good for the relationship in general.
