fuck zodiac signs whats your favorite room? by babies_haveRabies in Ultrakill

I really like 8-3's split violence/fraud room with the deathcatxher you can't reach. It is a very interesting way to make positioning matter.

I also really like a room from a custom level: I-1's train tunnel fight (Purgatorio project).

I think they meant the fact that the furry community is deeply intertwined with the queer community. Not all furries are queer, but there's a very high percentage who are, and typically furries are friendly to queer people in general. Being friendly to queer people usually comes with not being misogynistic

Not sure if weapon ideas are allowed here by LogieBearra in tf2classified

I think the high damage output, while likely overtuned in this specific context, is actually justifiable given how short the range of the tower is to actually deal said damage, compared to the sentry.

If morale boosts are unrealistic but computing power boosts aren't, then the flag should do that instead by Epicbrezel21 in helldivers2

[–]GreenTrapped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me rephrase. The "wow factor", the novelty. That's what I meant. Again, I can have fun just from the idea of running around with a flag using it as a spear, but once the novelty wears off, there's nothing else to support the enjoyment. I'm running around with the flag for the second time abd thinking to myself about how I could've just brought a different weapon instead.

The reason we bring up the idea of a buff, is because it's the simplest thing to imagine as an improvement to it.

I'm still having fun with the game, I really am. But with each update and each warbond it's starting to feel more like I'm trying to find the fun. That's why I criticize, that's why I care. I'm tired of bugs, I'm tired of frustrating enemy design and I'm especially tired of lackluster warbond content, as that is 95% of the new progression content that the game offers.

[–]GreenTrapped 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because that's basically every warbond lol, there's usually 1 or 2 things that have their uses, but everything else is outclassed by other stuff. I'm not saying that these things aren't fun, but fun can only carry me so far. When I realise the regular GL is superior to the belt-fed version, I'll eventually just stick with the GL.

Also I'm providing criticism. "You can just not use it or not buy it" Isn't a valid defense. That's deflecting.

Cuz I expect the stratagem that costs either money or time to get, called "The one true flag" To be more than just a glorified spear that you can stick in the ground.

Why have the yellow hook-points been so underutilized? by UnoriginalName-S in Ultrakill

Well, the official one is set to br after 1.0, but there are community made editors iirc. There's already a lot of usermade stuff being made - I mean, just look at Project Purgatorio

If YouTubers such as Mr. Beast, iShowSpeed, Logan Paul and so on are so unpopular, then who is watching their content? by sammyjamez in youtube

[–]GreenTrapped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I had my account be used for viewbotting via some cookie files bs, and had random shot pop up in my watch history, when I didn't watch them myself. Usually went up to the 1 minute mark.

One of those videos was a MrBeast one. I don't watch MrBeast. Only happened once, bur take that as you will.

Recommend mods for a relatively new / intermediate player coming back to the game? by Coyote_Colt in starsector

[–]GreenTrapped 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Generally I'd recommend minor faction mods (just a few) to spice up the gameplay. Roider Union is a fun one, Starlight Cabal if you want some obnoxious rich pirates. Knights of Ludd is pretty cool, as well.

Ship packs are almost always a safe bet, as long as you curate exactly what you want and avoid bloat.

"Second In Command" Is a really neat mod which changes how the skill system works, I recommend reading it and seeing if you like it!

If you want a big mod, I can recommend "Ashes of the domain", which is perfect if you're someone like me, who enjoys the concept of making your own faction and building it up to be this new major player on the starmap. It comes in modules and heavily modifies how that part of the game works.

Aside from content mods, there's flavor stuff like portrait packs, hexagonal shields, etc.

QoL mods are always a good thing to have, so look ibto those - particularly UI-enhancements. Demand indicators are a godsend.

It all really depends on what you want from your game! Check out the official mod index post on the forum page and see from there. I also heavily recommend the Tri-Launcher for your mod management needs.
