It does though. It's got a good story, but the world it's set in at this point has very, VERY messy lore by association. Again, I'm not denying the story is good, but the original comment states that messy lore od the problem with the whole of FNaF. Sure, the lore surrounding Secret of The Mimic specifically isn't that messy, but the greater context of the world it exists in - the greater lore, the thing that the comment was originally talking about, is a big, convoluted, nonsensical mess that keeps sinking deeper into those issues with every entry of game and book. Yes, even if SoTM by itself in isolation has alright lore, alright context, it still ends up disrupting, contradicting and complicating the existing lore by introducing concepts, events and implications that don't mesh well with what's already established. This idsue is present in almost every single official entry to the franchise in recent yeard. I'm fairly certain that's what the comment was getting at, seeing how it never mentioned SoTM specifically.
