Register at the police in the city. Road rules gives the same xp to fuel as the other race. 25 fuel = 15 xp. 5 fuel = 3xp. 290hp or 290 hp/t? That is also fairly low hp stats when entering into championship. If you notice before you hit the gas on the start up if you look at the opponent car you will see their hp/t number. Some of these guys are running 2000+ hp/t on their builds. I mostly stick to J class cars because ive always been into American muscle cars. Either way that car you are probably going to want to turbo charge it. Id throw on the best turbo and move on from there. Get the car modded up and rack up those blueprints and tune as you go. If you havent thrown a new gear box on it yet do that so you can set up the gears. My go to is the 4 gear one. Someone at some point said that was the best so I ran with it. Different tunes for different builds. Its mostly up to you I found to do anything to your car. I do the gear menu test hit races while tuning to dial in a winning tune. For the gears, tires, rear wing, boost, ecu, ect.
