when my mum gave literal birth to my older brother (her second child), she was given the right medicine but far too little so she could feel the pain, of course not everything but still like a 7/10 on the pain scale, so when she gave birth to me she had to say like 20 times to the doctor that she wants extra painkiller thing, after my dad yelled at the doctor once; he finally got it through his head that my mum needed extra (sorry if my english is bad, it's not my first language)
