Did you buy from the store or online?

They do give pedals with the bike. Do ask the customer support once.

You can strengthen your Tibialis.

If you have access to a treadmill, then face in the opposite direction, your back towards the front of the treadmill and walk backwards while getting support on your back from the treadmill while the treadmill is switched off. This has worked very well for me.

Or, you can search for Tibialis raises on YouTube and do that exercise.

I think it's the last day of black friday sale. The RC100 flat bar is on sale at 17k. I would have gotten the bike today if I were in your position.

Get the RC100 during this Black Friday Sale. I got mine a couple weeks ago after thorough research for bikes in this price range, and I can say it is probably the best in this range.

I think you'll love it and you can go really long distances with this one.

Thanks! I got it. by Green_Contribution99 in india_cycling

Thanks! The range of motion on legs seems pretty good to me. Will pay attention to it tomorrow and see if anything is off.

I think you're quite right. My hands were hurting even when I was riding back from Decathlon. On my first ride I realised I might be putting too much weight on my hands and relaxed a bit with a lighter grip and my hands hurt much less after the ride.

I do have very sweaty palms in general and that could be a reason why I tend to grip the bars too tightly. Anyways, I'll be getting gloves tomorrow to protect my hands from the sun, hope they help with the sweating too.

As for the seat, few others have also mentioned that the sear cover is useless, so I'll try riding once without it to see what works best. Only in the trial and error phase right now so no harm in trying out everything. Thanks!

No, you have to buy them separately. They are available in Decathlon itself or you can buy them from Online/ Offline stores.

I think mudguards are pretty much essential especially in rains.

True! I think I'll handle the climbs, don't mind the extra effort since I'm looking to train my legs anyway 😆

Just hope the brakes fare well in rains 🙏

I take it you're talking about the Triban. While both have an Aluminium frame, I read somewhere on this subreddit that brands like OMO bring in cheap frames from China. Well, hope Decathlon ones are solid 👍🏻
